Perfect conditions today, someone will go low but it still won't be enough.

The crowds have been amazing this week. Portrush has done a stella job as host again.

Shades of Tiger at the '97 Masters and '00 US Open here.

Scottie +8.55 SG approach on the field this week is outrageous. One of the best ever at getting the ball hole high nearly every time. His distance control is unbelievable.

Going to be hard for the comms to generate any sense of excitement in the competition.

Yeah it just becomes an anticlimactic procession and a battle for second place.

Can't blame Scottie though, the rest just need to be better.

What’s the record for biggest ever win at the open?

Tiger by 8 in 2000 I think

As can often happen in solo sports, the best players can be boring to watch. Scheffler is just so consistent, he doesn't get himself into trouble, so he doesn't need to pull off sensational shots.

He'll hit a par 4 green in 2 shots or a 5 in 3 then you can be sure he's not going to do more than 2 putt.

That’s likely going then

Probably. Not sure he'll quite match Tiger winning by 15 at the '00 US Open though

Shout out to Chris Gotterup for winning the Scottish last week and currently joint 2nd in his first Open.

If he continues this form he could well be a RC wild card pick.

Hatton is a supreme ball striker but I can't even watch him on the greens.

Every missed putt we get 30 seconds of drama, flinging his arms in the air, looking at the putter face, blaming his caddy, and basically being a total bell cheese.

I love it

Particularly as he's not like that off course and can laugh at himself

Very impressive from Scheffler but what a snorefest

Of course it would have been nice to have a competitive Sunday, but Scottie was just too good.

I enjoy seeing a golfer playing at such a high level.

Congrats to Scottie on his 1st Open win
