If Rory had won the Masters in 2011 when he should have done he'd have at least 5 green jackets by now

That must go down as one if the best rounds at Augusta,   he can only now beat himself,  something we know he is capable of,  hoping those days are gone.

Went to bed when he was co lead and having to work hard to make par. Didn't see that run coming.

Hope he hasn't peaked to soon, only thing that can stop him now is fatigue. There is no way Rory wins this without making it difficult somewhere lol

He’s 90/91 off the tee and six shots clear!

do Augusta have to just suck it up or do they change it a bit next year with some rough in amongst the trees in prone areas ?   I’m guessing you just suck it up rather than change the whole ethos of the course for one player.  The firmness this year makes some of his rescue shots a lot better with such long run.

Course record might be under threat today. Absolute birdie fest out there.

I love listening to Butch at the masters

Iconic voice on comms, but he doesn't half talk some bollocks though. His age has caught up with him and he struggles to understand and describe what he's seeing half the time.

He's golf's John Motson.

FFS Rory you never make it easy for yourself.

Strap in for another emotional rollercoaster.

In Rory’s documentary there was a point he talked about playing his best golf when he was relaxed, smiling etc. Exact opposite to his demeanour all day today.

I’d be surprised if he’s in the solo lead by the end of the day.

Wouldn't put it past him to still pick up shots at 13 & 15 though.

My guess is he'll still be leading by at least 2
