Jordan Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 In fariness to the Liverpool one, at least the designers have put some though into it. There's a lot to be said for that. There really isn't that much to be said.
Fox in the North Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Rotherham Puma away, here's how they do a grey kit
Kitchandro Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Manchester United Home It's the England away shirt with a different coloured collar and a different badge.
Kitchandro Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 If that Liverpool shirt had some 'thought put into it', then I'm happy to take these thoughtless Nike shirts instead. There really isn't that much to be said. I don't get why people are happy for football shirts to be plain with clearly no effort put into designing them. What is the point in a football shirt if it's the same as a load of normal t-shirts you can get from Fosse Park or town?
Kitchandro Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Official Liverpool third shirt *shudders* That one is quite nice. Fair play to a designer with a bit of imagination, even if it didn't work on the white one.
Finnegan Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 That one is quite nice. Fair play to a designer You're beyond help.
Bert Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I must be the only person in the world that thinks the Liverpool kits aren't that bad.
Simmo86 Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I must be the only person in the world that thinks the Liverpool kits aren't that bad. I like the Goalkeeper and 3rd kits. They've had a mare with the away kit though!

If you really think those Warrior shirts are even in the same league as the Nike shirts, youre an idiot.
Kitchandro Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 If you really think those Warrior shirts are even in the same league as the Nike shirts, youre an idiot. No I just have a different opinion to you If I want a plain shirt, I'll go to a normal shop that sells bog standard plain shirts. If I want a football shirt, I'll get one that looks like a football shirt, and then I'll wear my normal shirts when I go to somewhere that requires some kind of dress code. Why would I want to spend £40+ on a bog standard shirt just because it has a badge on it? I've got a draw full of Leicester and England shirts, it's not like I need another one. I'd only buy one if it was offering me something different to ones I've already got, i.e. a different style/pattern. As it happens I like that Liverpoll 3rd shirt, it's got an nice design that works with the colour scheme - it's interesting to look at it. It's striking, it's unique, it's noticeable. It's what a football shirt should be, IMO.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Rotherham Puma away, here's how they do a grey kit I wish I could say "Oh dear, oh dear" but I quite like that
Soar Fox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 Rotherham Puma away, here's how they do a grey kit That shirt would look lovely without the sponsor.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I quite like junk foods as sponsors, relevant to football fans and in no way pretentious or likely to cause a divide. I'd much sooner have Pukka Pies than Wonga.com or Cash Converters
Harry - LCFC Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 If you really think those Warrior shirts are even in the same league as the Nike shirts, youre an idiot. Poor taste would be the right term to use, calling someone an idiot for their opinion on shirts is a little silly. You can't really be 'wrong' as such if you like a particular bit of kit unless it's something truly ridiculous e.g. Leicester turning up with a pink and neon green striped design, that really would be wrong. Liverpool's away kit is far from ridiculous. I understand why you might not like it but there's no need to dish out insults against someone who thinks differently.

I apologise for any offence caused by my words. But his bad taste probably offended me more.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 If I want a football shirt, I'll get one that looks like a football shirt So what you're saying is that unless a football shirt doesn't have a busy, cluttered design to it - it DOESN'T look like a football shirt whatsoever? I agree with Sammy P - you're an idiot.
Bayfox Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 The Liverpool goal-keeper kit is even worse And heres the real reason he wants to go back to spain haha.

I agree with Sammy P - you're an idiot. Who said anything about cluttered? I said a shirt that looks like a football shirt, not a plain t-shirt with a badge on it. And yeh if I'm getting a football shirt I expect some kind of unique design on it. Anyway, you calling me an idiot only proves you have an unhealthily high opinion of yourself.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 you calling me an idiot only proves you have an unhealthily high opinion of yourself. Well, yeah.
Fox in the North Posted 5 June 2013 Posted 5 June 2013 I'm just convinced that the pattern is there because the printer broke when the kits were being designed
