Happy Fox Posted 16 February 2013 Posted 16 February 2013 Wood has proved to be clinical with us his absence means we as a team look pedantic and not able to get the ball in the back of the net I know some posters will point that we have scored goals without Wood before we signed him but I point to those tight games at Blackburn away, Cardiff at home where we weren't clinical we had the chances but were lacking in striking prowess, that is why I would hope NP brings in some experience upfront to have alongside Wood and Nugent because namely Waghorn and Vardy cannot score for toffee.

Tbh, with the points lead and consistency it should really be us and you or hull for automatics (with hornets as outsiders). Think Hull would have a better chance in playoffs than you though. But saying that, I think we would get done if we were to slip into the playoffs anyway

Each team has it in there own hands as none of the contenders are going to go unbeaten. However, looking at the last 6 games Leicester will need to get there with a cushion. That's one tricky run in you've got there.

That's one tricky run in you've got there. Agreed. But we should be positive and see having Watford and Palace in the final 3 games as it means we can hopefully shape our own destiny at that stage.

The end of the season should be a tense time for us, you, hull and whoever else. If so what are they like? What are their plans for Pearson if we don't get promoted? Share the knowledge bro, it's great to have someone who's good friends with the owners on the forum. Our last 4 league games are WWWL Over 10 league games we have the same form as Hull, both won 5... Palace have only won 2 in their last 10 Udinese are the danger, the 402 players they've got in at Watford are doing the business, although Bristol City showed Watford are not above poor performances & dropping points.
