Munshi Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Starting 11: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, Marshall, King, Keane, Nugent, Kane, Wood.
theessexfox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Kane or Nugent out wide? Nige must rate him a lot.
EnderbyFox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Starting 11: Schmeichel, De Laet, Morgan, Konchesky, Marshall, King, Kane, Nugent, Wood. Knockaert dropped. I know Blackpool aren't great this season, but starting with 9 is taking the piss a bit!
Saladin Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Didn't realise Knocky was injured Kane starts, Interesting indeed.
theessexfox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Didn't realise Knocky was injured Kane starts, Interesting indeed. He's on the bench according to twitter.
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Author Posted 23 February 2013 Leicester City â€@OfficialFOXES #lcfc subs: Whitbread, Vardy, Dyer, Logan, Gallagher, Wellens, Knockaert.
The Doctor Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Didn't realise Knocky was injured Kane starts, Interesting indeed. I don't think he is, he's just benched.
cc_star Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 @OfficialFOXES#lcfc team to play Blackpool: Schmeichel, De Laet, Konchesky, Drinkwater, Morgan ©, Marshall, King, Keane, Nugent, Kane, Wood. 433 then? James was carrying an injury wasn't he, which is why King is in & Wellens moves up to the bench Pleased to see Knocky dropped, he needs a kick up the bum & could do great work coming off the bench Fear for pacey wingers attacking Konch, needed Schlupp at LB for this one with either Konch or SSL just inside him to make up for the lack of experience
FrankieADZ Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 after Marshall last few performances I'm surprised his starting, just hope he puts in the performace we know his got in his locker
theessexfox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Pearson is so inflexible, he'll never try anything other than 4-4-2
Saladin Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 He's on the bench according to twitter. So it seems. Didn't think Pearson would ever drop him, he was quiet against Charlton. If anything, Marshall should have been dropped, overall, he's had more poor performances than Knocky.
foxesfan1989 Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Looks 4-3-3 to me, no idea if Kane can play Attacking Mid though? Very attacking line up either way.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 I don't think he is, he's just benched. Who are all those dicks gone to Blackpool dressed as Frenchmen? That's made my day that he's on the bench! By the way large al, I'm not at this match!
theessexfox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 So it seems. Didn't think Pearson would ever drop, he was quiet against Charlton. He dropped him a month or two ago didn't he?
Munshi Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Got a brilliant feeling about this one Looks like it is 4-4-2 and nuge is out on the left.
The Doctor Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 By the way large al, I'm not at this match! Tell someone who gives a rats arse.
theessexfox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Starting 11 Bench I don't know, Knockaert and Dyer are decent options off the bench...
TrentFox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 His track-record suggests it will be 4-4-2 with Nuge palying wide left, I suspect. That's a big call when he has players on the bench who can play wide left for us arguably better than Nuge. My worry is not going forward but defending down that side. Really big call for me. But that's what he gets paid for so 10/10 for courage.
The Year Of The Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 Tell someone who gives a rats arse. I thought you did after commenting on my superior attendance to matches?
Raw Dykes Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 It will be interesting to see how having some decent competition up front will affect the team. I'd start Nugent and Wood, and expect them to play like they're trying to avoid losing their place in the team to Kane, who I'd bring on for the last half an hour. It is a shite pitch, so we'll probably be forced to play more direct than usual. Maybe bringing Kane on for Nugent towards the end of the match will be effective. It's a real shame James is injured, and that Schlupp isn't available - Konch struggled in the reverse fixture at full back, while Jeff impressed. I really don't rate Paul Ince as a manager, but this is his first home match since being appointed, so anybody's guess as to how well Blackpool will perform.
Happy Fox Posted 23 February 2013 Author Posted 23 February 2013 It looks more 4-3-3 formation than a 4-4-2 no way is Nugent a Left Winger!
Bettsj2 Posted 23 February 2013 Posted 23 February 2013 On another thread, 2 of NP's biggest critisisms were no loanees and a rigid 4-4-2 formation. That formation today looks like a 4-2-1-3 to me with Marsh in the hole. Along with Kane up front, we have to say that NP is addressing what we percive to be big problems. I'm enthused by the line up and hope it lives up to its promise!!
