Guest Bilo Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Christ, had some horrors. 5-1 at Forest. THAT day at Stoke. Cardiff play-off, home and away. 1999 Worthington Cup final. Losing at home to Wycombe took the biscuit though. It sparked a decline that season that hung over into the next season, and took the best part of a decade to recover from.

Bayfox Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Wasnt at stoke but part of me is glad. The worst bit was listening to every media outlet bang on about "the 1st time in our history" all summer. Wycombe takes some beating. Think we beat liverpool 3-0 the week before. As mentioned don't think the club ever recovered until the above event lead to an overhaul of that losing mentality.

Thought we were staying up after the Barnsley game, so the Sheff Wed defeat was terrible. Forest away in the early 90's. 4-0 I think (blocked it out). All you could hear was that loving feeling song. Not nice. It was live on ITV and I was sat there wishing I'd stayed at home with my Sunday dinner.

When they scored the winner, it was bloody horrible. Also the next season we lost 0 - 3 at home to Derby. Was so gutted and cold, I just sat there in the Carling stand after the game. Got snapped on my own in the stand by the Mercury and made the back page on Monday with the tagline, 'Looking Down'.

Sat on front row at charlton with my head in my hands and got snapped by some photographer. Maybe the mercury on the monday. Looks.like i'm roaring. Fcuking bastard. Never lived it down. Hate it).

Harry - LCFC Posted 25 February 2013 Posted 25 February 2013 Barnsley at home last season. First defeat at home since Pearson had returned and I've never felt like booing more than that day. Drinkwater was a cvnt all game as well.
