Nigel not going anywhere - Off to Portugal.

The squad are off to Portugal for a team building exercise this week, which means that Nige will not be getting the boot. So now lets get behind the team, regardless of your opinion of the manager and lets win the last 8 games!!

Repas avec la miff avant de revenir ce soir à Leicester ! Demain Portugal avec l'équipe ..

Which Translates as...

Meals with miff before returning to Leicester tonight! Portugal tomorrow with the team

They've only bought Nigel a one way ticket.

I think it looks suspicious that the squad is going to Portugal and Nigel isn't going anywhere !

Who'd take them though? Shakey and Walsh would both leave with NP, and Stowell couldn't take them all by himself, so that's what makes me think he's not going and where, besides he's hardly going to say 'going to Portugal with the team tomorrow as well as Nigel and the crew'

i was joking :D

The thread title says " Nigel not going anywhere", and the first post just says the squad is going

Let's be honest sacking NP at this stage isn't going to get us anywhere, you could argue sack him, get a new man in and have another go next season, either way, even though we are still in the playoffs I think we need to write this season off.

I think NP needs another season, if we don't do anything next, are still experiencing the same problems then yes maybe it will be time for him to go, but if we sack him I guarentee whoever replaces him will be sacked after less than a season and so the pattern will continue.

As for taking the team to Portugal, I'd be taking them to some boot camp, not some jolly in the sun.

The look tired and unfit, obviously taking them to a boot camp wouldn't help their tiredness but it'd get them working on their fitness, besides I presume they are going to Portugal to train and train hard (I'd like to think so) so either way they won't be relaxing or helping their tiredness, get to some boot camp in some dreary English place, that soon show you who wants it more than others.

Right lads, you've been completely and utterly shit for a prolonged period so we need to address this in Portugal. . .

Some training in a hotter climate at high altitude will refresh the lads and bring up the fitness levels again. We have looked tired from game after game, we have had a tough run in recently with moved fixtures and games being played left right and centre, no to time to work on anything or recouperate. This trip will do them wonders.

They need a bit of a La Manga-style break.

Let their hair down and let off some fire extinguishers, Collymore-style.

......and shag a few prostitutes

He's not going to get sacked. Unlucky haters.

Nigel Adkins warcock etc. don't make me laugh.

This shit needs to stop. The people wanting Pearson out are indeed 'haters'; they hate seeing us lose our grip on a promotion place and they hate seeing us playing the way we are playing. It seems that some follow Pearson rather than Leicester City.

This is what I don't get, why is there an assumption that if you criticise Nigel for anything you will therefore not get behind the team come match day on the terraces.

It also doesn't mean he won't be sacked, unlikely I grant you and not what I would want at the moment but he has made mistakes and has no idea how to rectify them at present. Let's hope a little holiday helps, wouldn't be surprised if there were more fall outs though being together for several days.

I was wondering wtf a meal with the miff was :D

I thought he was eating in a bad mood.

With Brighton winning today, lets hope not replacing Pearson now IS the right move.

I have a feeling if this run continues and we do finish 7th, very few will be happy with that.

This break would be the natural time to make a replacement. If its not to happen, let's hope it's the correct decision.

Assuming the loan window is still open, let's hope it doesn't stop whoever the manager is getting a couple of decent reinforcements in either, so many players out of form we need to look elsewhere

 Exactly, they'll still be a "love in" by some at the end of the season even when/if we finish outside the playoffs.

God help us if he somehow survives this and we have put up with him and his drivel for another season!
