Makes Crystal Palace Look Like Amatures

Was having a look on the interwebs to see how ol' Yuki Abe is doing and found this. If Palace think they're amazing with their little flags, they've got nothing on these guys.

Would love to go to a game like that over there.

How is Yuki doing?

Scored more goals in less games. Mind you it did take him 'til that one against Ipswich, end of the season and all that.

I miss him :(

What a penalty by him, not far from being perfect.

Surprised by the Japanese fans to be honest, never really associated their culture with noise and passion for football.

It's something the majority of the world does yet in the UK it seems like the authorities are against it. It's always baffled me how we seem to be the only country in the world against it.

Never actually saw a stadium in Tokyo but got off the train one evening I think near Ueno to swathes of red Yuki Abe shirts.

Brought a smile to my face.

I think that this would be amazing at ours. It will never happen I know. Just imagine though, if you were an away fan you'd be shit scared/impressed.

lol you definitely wouldn't be shit scared. It's impressive but modern, non-latin ultras are football's glee club.

It creates a good atmosphere but it isn't intimidating. Nobody's ever going to be scared at Palace or York.

Well I guess that will depend on your definition of ultra.

die hard fan for me. doesnt mean that anybody should be scared of "ultras" just cos some left wing italians go round stabbing english before european games.

what these japs are doing is impressive i dont see how they can be knocked? especially by us!

Exactly. I'd rather have that than a couple of people twirling flags.

Or our ten people singing "we love you" led only by Jobbers drum

At the end of the day what the HF do at Palace works at their club - a club where any kind of supporter culture was non-existent before they turned up.

Ultras scenes vary from country to country. Violence forms a bigger part of the culture in some countries more than others. But equally it's not just about waving pretty flags and singing. It's about having principles and not compromising on them, being proud of your club and city ,and making a stand against modern football - something I severely doubt the Japanese fans in that video understand.
