Essington blue Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 You see this is the kind of comment that makes people look like idiots. swiss_tony, if you were still wondering what Haydos' point was, here it is in a nutshell. How can you not be patronising to an idiot like this? How on earth did we get to 2nd in spite of Pearson, when we were midtable when he came? Was it fairies? The ghost of Matt Gillies? Why weren't we 2nd at all between his 1st and 2nd reign if it was in spite of him? With your logic then, you agree that bruce is a much better manager than pearson! Good on you! I suppose it's fairies who are in charge of us now that we are on this shit run? Last time I looked a season didn't finish when leicester got in the top 2, it's normally may! Confident we are going somewhere this season?

Confident we are going somewhere this season? What has this shit got to do with what I said? You can't argue with me, what you're suggesting is factually untrue and ridiculous. We haven't been in the top 2 (or anywhere near it in fact) AT ALL since Micky Adams took us up (2003) - other than when Pearson has been in charge. So tell me, and try not to go off on a tangent or change the subject here, how can we have possibly got into 2nd place if it was in spite of Pearson? Explain that logic. I'm aware the season doesn't end when we're in the top 2, stop doing that typical thick person's thing to do where you make a completely irrelevent point to try to avoid the fact you're nonsense has been exposed. Pearson has fvcked things up, I have said so numerous times this evening. But if you're trying to deny he got us into second twice this season, then you're speaking falsehoods. Lying. Talking shit. Living in somewhere other than reality. Like a thick person. Capiche? Did it ever cross your little mind that he might have been doing things right at one stage, and then started to do things wrong?

( thought I'd join you in the abuse ) bit strange by the way beens as your agreeing with someone who slags off all the so called thick, foul mouthed fans!! Anyway your right, I went off on a tangent there! Anyway, what is he doing different from when we were having positive displays & results then? Cus I can't see a massive change in the playing line up from then to now! Hence in 'spite of him' !!!!! Does it make sense now mr hawkin?

Cus I can't see a massive change in the playing line up from then to now! Hence in 'spite of him' !!!!! Does it make sense now mr hawkin? No it doesn't make sense. We are doing things different. Our style of play has changed. The players are clearly not being instructed to pass it as they were before, and if they are they're not listening. The team has been changed numerous times, rightly and wrongly. The players attitude is different. You've answered the question yourself, we did have positive results and displays, so you'd agree we (and therefore him, as the buck stops with his, yes?) were doing thinsg right? So now, we're doing things wrong? Like I say, we've changed our style of play, we started playing weakened teams in the cup which disrupted our rhythm. Then we started playing 4-3-3 and tried to incorporate Kane, who was similar to Wood with shitter finishing - but put him and Nugent out wide. And the players have been playing differently, with less passion, drive, commitment, ideas, confidence and quality. And less professionalism as well. So yeh, we're doing a lot of things differently, some things are down to the manager's decisions (why he's made some of them I don't know) and some are inexplicable, such as the players' descent into nothingness, regardless of system and even style of play.
Maybes Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Bravo Sir. There was a ridiculous amount of boneheads in our away end today, for example. Its all starts off good natured 'One Nigel Pearson' being bellowed out by large sections of our support as he comes out of the tunnel. We go 1 down due to a Keane OG and suddenly Pearson is a '****ing idiot', 'cvnt' etc the list goes on. We go 2 down. Some sections of the crowd chanting for Martin O'Neill???Really? Then next singing 'loyal supporters' and 'sing your hearts out for the lads', followed by 'We want our Leicester back' then 'What the **** is going on' Seriously, if you want to support a team that wins every week, **** off to Old Trafford you'd fit in much better up there and you'd have less tantrums. The whole idea of being a supporter is just that. Get behind your team and enjoy the ups and downs that come your way!
wurmer Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Fans are fans - they have a right to moan when we lose and to cheer when we win. If you can't handle it, go join the egg chasing toffs.

Weller in Tights Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 God it really is the battle of the 'know it alls' on this thread. Don't you love the hacks who have racked up the '5000 posts in one week' and feel they are the 'real' city supporters. Maybe they're the site police that have stopped me being allowed to post. I reckon they wanted Di Canio all along, fits in with their politics!!
iancognito Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I totally agree with the OP and people like Kitchandro. I've given up trying to get my head around the attitude of the pondlife we have in the stands and inhabiting these boards. God knows what will happen to the club if these people get their way and actually get listened to as some sort of authority. I've watched decent poster after decent poster give up and go elsewhere and I'm off to find where they've ended up.

What a snob, so your views and those of the 'decent posters' are the ones that count. Everyone else appears to be 'pond life'. Wow, you and Di Canio would get on well.

Daggers Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Maybe instead of getting angry you'd prefer it if fans all started getting their bums out and whipping themselves in a self-sacrifice kind of way? Ooh look, someone is projecting again. You love bums.

Wow, you and Di Canio would get on well. Well, trying to articulate one's point of view looks a much more viable option to me. It's either that or booing players and/or throwing curse words in their direction during games when things aren't going the way one expects them to be going. I think I'll go with the first option. Thank you.

With your superior intellect and knowledge of the game. How do you manage to survive? Sorry Nigel
