flowwolf Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 See latest post. Not offended, I swear, I shout I'm inappropriate, I've been a Rugby lad most of my life so I don't give a second thought to stuff like that to be honest. It's the horrific attitude towards managers/players that i'm alluding to. When you pay hard earned money to see games like the poor buggers who made the trip to Barnsley had to witness is it any wonder they end up with a horrific attitude to a manager and players who could not be arsed and were obviously trying to get their own manager out ? compare what those players earned this week to those ordinary working class fans who had to work hard for their wages .
Bezzanator89 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I'm coming to accept that Nige is on borrowed time. Each match recently has ended and we look less like turning this around. One thing that's struck me though is how much hatred a lot of our fans on here have for him. Hatred. Not disappointment or disagreement, hatred. Pure vitriol. This has got me pretty wound up. In the last few seasons I've come to despise our fans as a group. I know there's plenty out there 'in real life' that are passionate but good-natured, love this club and have empathy and understanding and I apologise, this isn't directed at you. It's aimed at the pathetic, bile-filled, neanderthals that seem to take joy in our failure. Cvnt, twat, arrogant fvck. All words used to describe a guy that got us out of league 1, into the playoffs, to 2nd in the table They jump on it like animals, it's shameful and I'm embarrassed to be a Leicester fan at the moment. Because of our fans, not our players or manager or board. When you combine that with the fact that you all seem as clueless as each other would be funny if it weren't so tragic. "Bring back Danns and Beckford" says one Pearson-out spammer.....brilliant. "Changes the team too much" says another...... like if we'd have stuck with the same team week in week out we'd be fine. "Bring home Martin" ......Bet you were calling for his head after his start at the club. "Barnsley miss a pen ffs"....For **** sake? **** off and support another club you ****. "Pearson out - I want him out immediately - he's ruined our season" ......Ruined our season? He got us to 2nd in the first place you mug. "total clear out at the end of the season".... Yeah, that's worked out well the last 3 years. You'll be calling for the next managers head after 10 games as well I bet. "The pro Pearson supporters have gone strangely quiet. "I and a number of others have taken dogs abuse over the past months (years in my case) for any criticism of Mr Pearson so come on defend him now we all know who you are!".....Yeah, should have gone when we were sitting in 2nd, that would have been a great move. This isn't about defending Pearson, this is about our support. He can go now, I wouldn't argue. Fvck the lot of you though, you don't deserve this club. Agree with Haydos. Not only is it vitriolic but it also, for the most part, comes from people of incredibly limited intelligence. At a game when I look at the sort of people in the crowd it's no surprise that of those that look mentally able use a computer you end up with the sort of comments quoted in the first post. Basically football and Leicester attract a lot of thick, hate filled, moaning scumbags who resort to anger and aggressiveness directed at people more successful than them to mask the underlying sense of failure reflected in their own miserable lives. My thoughts entirely. Well said both of you. Shame we now live in a keyboard-ego world, where half of these neanderthals probably don't even attend the home games. For shame. For shame. I feel sorry for their contempt for someone who has no doubt been a flicker of light in the past dark, dark decade. Gratitude is a hard thing to find these days, fickleness is not so.
Cockney Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Gotta say I've just about had it with some of our 'fans'. If there's one thing I can't stand it's fickle folk, so to all those who have suddenly found their voice; booing players, slating the manager and generally providing negative or unhelpful opinion, **** off. The club doesn't need you. I'm actually now dreading the Brighton game on Saturday. Not because we might well lose the opportunity to finish in the play-offs, but because I know I'm going to have to bite my lip to prevent me from letting rip against a bunch of fickle idiots who feel they have a god-given right to support a Premier League team. I urge you morons to grow up and realise that getting behind our team is the right thing to do, win or lose. P155ing off players like Marshall isn't going to help our team out - he's a game changer and needs confidence, as do the rest of our boys. And if your reaction is that you 'pay for your tickets and therefore it's your right to boo' you have totally missed the point of this message and therefore, God help us all. I'd take Championship football over sitting next to you any day.
David Hankey Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 So you can be foul mouthed and tell folk to "go away" if they don't agree with you? Sorry that's not going to happen. You're as bad as this Coalition Government reckoning "we're all in it together"!! The fact is if the players or manager can't stand criticism they know where the door is after all they're quiet happy to take the plaudits when due.
Tielemans63 Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 So you wouldn't be bothered if all the people at the football were total cvnts, who did no singing, but sat on their arse all game shouting abuse at the players from minute one, booed, and created a horrible atmosphere? What do you mean 'if'?
Dan Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I couldn't agree more really. Our fans have become a total joke. Always had that streak in us but there's a worryingly high number like this now. I wonder how many other clubs have such a high percentage of idiot fans because I fail to believe there are many with as high as us. Such a shame. We were once terrific.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 I don't know if anyone else has noticed a stream of fvcktards from other clubs come on this forum not to have a football related input but just because they are total muppets slagging us off etc etc, proof in my eyes that we have the same support as others no better no worse In fact if anything I think we have slightly better support than most but not as good as some others
Buzzell Posted 2 April 2013 Posted 2 April 2013 Last thing we need is people throwing toys out of the pram because of what is going on. Booing, especially at certain individuals doesn't help (not saying Marshall isn't in the wrong) This is our club, this is our team, support them, sing your hearts out and keep the faith.

anotherharboroughfox Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Can't believe I've only just got round to reading this! Kitch and Haydos
flowwolf Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 I have been a supporter of this club for over fifty years and we used to have a great set of fans , who would sing and chant all match despite some of the rubbish being played out in front of them. But the one thing Leicester fans of old would not stand for was a player/ players who did not give a fvck and were obviously not trying. It did not matter if they did not have much footballing talent and God knows we have had more than our fair share of those, but if they ran themselves ragged and made every effort to over come their shortcomings then we loved them. I don't like Pearson as a manager that is obvious from my other posts but on this occasion he is right about the players taking some responcibilty. Over the last ten games ( Blackburn excepted ) they have shown very little passion or desire Barnsley being the nadir. In fact they seem hell bent on getting their own manager the sack. Now if they don't care and have no personal pride why the hell should we put up with that ? Why should we get all happy clappy when we know there is something seriously wrong at the club ? Some people on here are saying any sort of criticism is heresy and that you don't deserve to call yourself a fan if you state the obvious. Well in my opinion burying your head in the sand and pretending it's not happening won't solve anything either.
seenitall Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Great thread- but when you read into it a bit its the same as most of the others on here. = I love Nigel and am all upset because I didn't spot he was really average and now I look a fool for denying that he has lost it so I am now going to blame the 'so called' Leicester fans for causing this with their 'neanderthal' ways. How about facing up to things and saying - I admit I may have been wrong And while I love my club I cannot sit by and idly watch this poor out of his depth man suffer any more, I will post on message boards and protest at the games until the rich inexperienced fools who own my club now, wake up to the fact that they need some experienced help to run it and then appoint someone who knows how to build a football team (preferably in a few months a la Martin O Neill) And stop slagging off the fans on the message board because they don't fit your ideals of what a football fan should be
Raj Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Love this thread....Keep it up Boys...most amusing!! P.S I'll have my tuppence....we have plenty of w@nker fans...we also have plenty of decent hardworking fans who for some absurd reason follow the team home and away come what may. We are no different to ANY other supporters...fickle.

Oh, why can't we all be as clever and enlightened as you Seenitall?! You've been out for Pearson since the day he set foot in this club, admittedly you went quite quiet when we were top of the league and when we were in second place and more or less every time we won a game, but it's like you honestly enjoy seeing as fail and you relish coming on here to tell us all how wrong we are for daring to support our manager and our football club. You put your hatred of the man in charge in front of actually supporting the club and call out anyone who offers him a shred of support, and for me, that's just pathetic. For the record, I think he's done a terrible job of late but I'd keep him until the end of the season for two reasons: 1. If they were going to sack him, they should have done it after the Derby game and got the new guy in to work with the squad over the international break, with 6 games left now, what's the point? 2. The list of managers we could realistically get is making me so sick I feel like I might pass out. Paul Ince? Neil Warnock? Brian 'hit and hope' McDermott? Mark Hughes? Give me ****ing strength. And you may as well forget O'Neill and Di Matteo - if they've got even the slightest bit of common sense, they won't touch this club with a barge pole. I'm sure I'll get some long, scathing reply full of rubbish about how I'm a blinkered moron and you're the only one who's seeing things as they really are, but to be honest with you, I couldn't give a lusty fvck what you think. I won't be admitting I was wrong because I don't think there's anything to admit - I backed the manager all season when we were in the playoffs and in the top two, now that we're in a very poor patch of form I think he probably deserves to be sacked, but the ideal moment has passed and the alternatives we've got for if Pearson leaves make me want to be physically sick, so while he's here, I'll still back him.

I slag the manager and players off like any one does even during the game but I dont shout it out and will not boo them either as it's counter productive. I will add I did not clap them at the end Monday either as they did not deserve it. Care to enlighten us with your statement that if O'Neil or Di matteo have any sense they would not touch this club with a barge pole ? You keep making out your a loyal fan then come out with a statement like that ? it beggars belief.

Di Matteo - a Champions League Winner who's last job was managing Chelsea. Yeah, I'm sure he's champing at the bit to come to a Championship club after that! Martin O'Neill - a Premier League manager, unfairly sacked by Sunderland IMO and has done well wherever he's gone. Again, why on earth come to a Championship club and take a massive, massive step down only to risk tarnishing your reputation at the club? Plus, O'neill doesn't go back - I remember when he was linked with the job at the same time as Sven and I met John Robertson at a function and he told me that O'Neill said he'd never go back to a club he'd been at before, especially Leicester due to the good job he'd done there and he wouldn't want anything to tarnish that. So IMO he won't be coming back. I love this football club from the absolute bottom of my heart, but at the minute it's a complete poisoned chalice. The owners are more or less clueless, both they and a large section of the fans want everything, they want it immediately, and God help you if you don't give to them... well you'd better have a thick skin because you will be absolutely crucified. Then the manager is sacked and the process is repeated ad nasuem. This is becoming a poisonous club and not the club I remember from when I started supporting them.

All good answers but you spoiled it somewhat with you homophobic allusion to to the alleged friendship I have with seenitall. For someone who " loves" the club you portray a pretty dim view of it, have you seen the film with Norman Bates in it ? he was in two minds aswell.

Always enjoy your impassioned posts, Indie, and more often than not find myself nodding in agreement with most of your sentiments. Not sure I can agree with calling our owners 'clueless', though. With hindsight SGE was an expensive mistake, but, as a strategy it was worth trying. 95% of us thought it was an exhilarating time to be a City supporter. Hindsight shows the folly of that to some degree but then we all know about hindsight. I personally believe that, as modern owners go, we could have done an awful lot worse than we have and maybe not much better. Until 2 months ago, they looked on course to realise the dream. There's nothing wrong with them being driven - be it by success or the financial return it affords.
