MC Prussian Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Hilarious You really love yourself!! This bloke must be ancient if he is saying "go back to bed Sonny" to I Blame Wellens!! Oh no, I always embrace the influx of inbred, knee-jerk posters after a hefty defeat or a bad run of results, no matter how "ancient" they are. I find that hilarious. Funnily enough, I thought people were more laid back and thoughtful with age - Leicester City FC fans being a rare exception.
Daggers Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Hilarious You really love yourself!! This bloke must be ancient if he is saying "go back to bed Sonny" to I Blame Wellens!! Is his age of any import? Does that feeble quip make you clever? No. No it doesn't. It just makes you look like a cunt.
flowwolf Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I'm coming to accept that Nige is on borrowed time. Each match recently has ended and we look less like turning this around. One thing that's struck me though is how much hatred a lot of our fans on here have for him. Hatred. Not disappointment or disagreement, hatred. Pure vitriol. This has got me pretty wound up. In the last few seasons I've come to despise our fans as a group. I know there's plenty out there 'in real life' that are passionate but good-natured, love this club and have empathy and understanding and I apologise, this isn't directed at you. It's aimed at the pathetic, bile-filled, neanderthals that seem to take joy in our failure. Cvnt, twat, arrogant fvck. All words used to describe a guy that got us out of league 1, into the playoffs, to 2nd in the table They jump on it like animals, it's shameful and I'm embarrassed to be a Leicester fan at the moment. Because of our fans, not our players or manager or board. When you combine that with the fact that you all seem as clueless as each other would be funny if it weren't so tragic. "Bring back Danns and Beckford" says one Pearson-out spammer.....brilliant. "Changes the team too much" says another...... like if we'd have stuck with the same team week in week out we'd be fine. "Bring home Martin" ......Bet you were calling for his head after his start at the club. "Barnsley miss a pen ffs"....For **** sake? **** off and support another club you ****. "Pearson out - I want him out immediately - he's ruined our season" ......Ruined our season? He got us to 2nd in the first place you mug. "total clear out at the end of the season".... Yeah, that's worked out well the last 3 years. You'll be calling for the next managers head after 10 games as well I bet. "The pro Pearson supporters have gone strangely quiet. "I and a number of others have taken dogs abuse over the past months (years in my case) for any criticism of Mr Pearson so come on defend him now we all know who you are!".....Yeah, should have gone when we were sitting in 2nd, that would have been a great move. This isn't about defending Pearson, this is about our support. He can go now, I wouldn't argue. Fvck the lot of you though, you don't deserve this club. Are you a social worker ? or man the phones for the samaratans by chance ? are you in touch with your femenine side ? Grow a pair of balls for god sake. If some one slagged me off twenty four seven called me all the useless cvnts under the sun then got sacked with a million quid in my pocket do you think I would be upset ? Stop acting like a school girl and man up for christ sake.
Rusko187 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Fully agree with Haydos post. I have my knee jerk reactions to losses at times but I don't hate NP, I think it's time this tenure ended and for both parties to push on in the right direction. Been going to Leicester games for about 4 seasons now and in that time it seems that some people just go to slate the team and away fans. It is quite embarrassing, not to mention when you read the bile dished out to players on twitter for when they have a bad game. Wasn't at the game today so couldn't tell you what happened with Marshall but if he was getting abuse from our fans than good on the lad for standing up to them.

Wow, now are you having a go at him saying go to bed Sonny or me saying he must be ancient?? You see I know how old Wellens is so I was just being factual, I really do not think age is of importance as you can be a young or old fool . What I do dislike is the snobbery of the clique on here, who then call all other fans/posters "pond life/scum/cvnts" This whole thread shows censorship is alive and well.

Why would you be desperate to slag someone off when you want them to do well? We're not talking about today here as such, but fans in general who appear to hate the team or certain players, and enjoy verbally abusing them?

MC Prussian Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Speaking of decent behaviour - how great are tools like Twitter that let you post tosh with a maximum of 140 characters on a regular basis? Twitter - when you're too manly to call someone else a c*nt in person. #SackPearsonnowImamiserablebastard

Would you like to experience real-life censorship? How about you try North Korea? Compared to some of our last factual dictatorships and bogey democracies on this planet, this place is a piece of heaven.

Should be great.

Some bod on here saying we should not say nasty things about Pearson or his players. Does anyone think Pearson reads any of this mundane patter on here or that anything anyone on here says counts for anything ? It's a football forum just like any other not a personal letter sent to managers or players. People let of steam on here and are entitled to their opinion even if it runs contrary to your own. Getting all touchy feely about what posters say about individuals is just wet and invites ridicule.

And there it may make a difference.

I've always tried to argue as much with those who spout that everything is brilliant as those who argue that everything is shite. Both frustrate me in even amounts. BUT, it's a football forum. I don't expect to see total rationality all the time.. And don't get offended if I don't see that.
Jakemoore Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I would love us to work under NP but I just don't think we will now, he's lost the team as far as I can see. I think we should get someone in. However, I like NP and I thank him for turning us around over his two spells! I agree though, some people on here show little or no intelligence but instead opt for "f**k Pearson this" etc...hardly an intelligent and concise opinion for what is, in actual fact, a discussion based football forum about LCFC... Oh and these people owe NP a bit more respect too!!

It wasn't about Pearson or negativity, it was shock at the downright unpleasantness of our fans. It pisses me off because these fans represent a club I love and I'm proud of and while It doesn't offend me I find it curious as to what can make people hate so irrationally.

If you are shocked at the downright unpleasantness of people I'd say you are a bit naive mate. That don't shock me one bit. What does shock me (maybe it shouldn't?) is some people's misuse of grammar and spelling. Some of it really is appalling.

With respect Haydos we are talking about football. A very very passionate game and following, in other words a mans game. Don't know where you sit but all around me during a game people cuss and swear call players shit boo at the end of a game when we lose and generally sing obnoxious songs and chants. Football fans ARE unpleasant and always have been it's what makes it the game it is . It is not for the faint hearted or those offended by bad language. Too many people today are hell bent on trying to take all that bite out of football and just look at the so called modern game idiots bringing their kids into the kop then going to a stward to complain about swearing ect. Sorry but I totally disagree with anyone getting all wet about it.

In conclusion, I don't understand the malice (which nobody seems to have given a reason for) and I generally write people who act this way off as knuckle draggers. I don't give a fvck if I'm being judgmental to be honest. Take you for example, I don't always agree with you but I will usually read your posts. You generally make points to an argument and add to the discussion and are rarely unpleasant (something which I can be at times). This is the kind of thing I enjoy about the forum. I just haven't got a minute for the 'fans' I'm referring to.

It's the horrific attitude towards managers/players that i'm alluding to.

So you wouldn't be bothered if all the people at the football were total cvnts, who did no singing, but sat on their arse all game shouting abuse at the players from minute one, booed, and created a horrible atmosphere? I just don't know why people are ok with that. What the fvck is the point if that's how it is?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Our fans are just like any other football fans I would suspect. Incredibly fickle. That's just how it is. It's not the fans who have only won one in 11, it's the team and the manager. A football forum is about views, opinions, some worth reading, some not, some thought out, some not, some passionate, some daft, some inspiring. That's the raison d'être of a football forum. You don't like it? Then leave. IMO. Totally agree bud, love a heated debate, banter and even some tempered abuse (within reason) Problem is the wright v wrong always comes into play and there is never a winner with opinion! All football fans are fickle it's just the way of life!

In fairness I did not say I was ok with that I just said that was a general outlook on football a realistic view. In actual fact it's the new generation of football fans who sit on their arses and don't bother to sing or get passionate about anything. They seem to think they are at a pop concert or a play and have absolutley no fvcking idea about what is going on on the pitch. The real fans have been driven out with over zealous stewarding and ridiclous pricing not to mention sky, and been replaced with taylor shop dummies who don't even bother to join in the singing and sit there like zonbies for the ninety minutes.
