Haydos Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I'm coming to accept that Nige is on borrowed time. Each match recently has ended and we look less like turning this around. One thing that's struck me though is how much hatred a lot of our fans on here have for him. Hatred. Not disappointment or disagreement, hatred. Pure vitriol. This has got me pretty wound up. In the last few seasons I've come to despise our fans as a group. I know there's plenty out there 'in real life' that are passionate but good-natured, love this club and have empathy and understanding and I apologise, this isn't directed at you. It's aimed at the pathetic, bile-filled, neanderthals that seem to take joy in our failure. Cvnt, twat, arrogant fvck. All words used to describe a guy that got us out of league 1, into the playoffs, to 2nd in the table They jump on it like animals, it's shameful and I'm embarrassed to be a Leicester fan at the moment. Because of our fans, not our players or manager or board. When you combine that with the fact that you all seem as clueless as each other would be funny if it weren't so tragic. "Bring back Danns and Beckford" says one Pearson-out spammer.....brilliant. "Changes the team too much" says another...... like if we'd have stuck with the same team week in week out we'd be fine. "Bring home Martin" ......Bet you were calling for his head after his start at the club. "Barnsley miss a pen ffs"....For **** sake? **** off and support another club you ****. "Pearson out - I want him out immediately - he's ruined our season" ......Ruined our season? He got us to 2nd in the first place you mug. "total clear out at the end of the season".... Yeah, that's worked out well the last 3 years. You'll be calling for the next managers head after 10 games as well I bet. "The pro Pearson supporters have gone strangely quiet. "I and a number of others have taken dogs abuse over the past months (years in my case) for any criticism of Mr Pearson so come on defend him now we all know who you are!".....Yeah, should have gone when we were sitting in 2nd, that would have been a great move. This isn't about defending Pearson, this is about our support. He can go now, I wouldn't argue. Fvck the lot of you though, you don't deserve this club.
wight88 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Same sort of pond life that gobbed on little the year he got us up
Strokes Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Haydos go and have a stiff drink pal.....its just football
Monsell1976 Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I think his arrogants and total contempt for the fans doesn't help his cause, I think the if you don't like it don't come comment did it for me, we are not as fortunate to earn what he earns, and I for one want value for my money.
Guest Bilo Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I have nothing but respect for his after his first two seasons here, turning us from the laughing stock of English football to a team that was a penalty away from Wembley was some achievement. Until February, we looked like going one step further than that. We were playing some beautiful stuff and couldn't stop scoring, Wood looked like the last piece in the jigsaw. However since Peterborough, we have looked more like a side fighting a losing battle against relegation. It's clear that something has gone horribly, horribly wrong since then and it appears to be something sudden. It's apparent that Pearson has lost the dressing room and when that happens, off you go. There is certainly no need for the hatred and vitriol, and the posters who've only been posting prolifically since our bad run (seenitall) are tiresome but it looks as though they're going to get their wish. Bye Nigel, thanks for turning us from League One fodder to a club disappointed with 7th.
shade Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 majority of the OTT ones are opposition fans, don't worry about it, innit.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Totally agree, I was a Pearson fan but now enough is enough. The owners should do what's right for the club and sack him. If we can get a new man in the play offs are still a real possibility especially with Forest petering out.
James. Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Agree with Haydos. Not only is it vitriolic but it also, for the most part, comes from people of incredibly limited intelligence. At a game when I look at the sort of people in the crowd it's no surprise that of those that look mentally able use a computer you end up with the sort of comments quoted in the first post. Basically football and Leicester attract a lot of thick, hate filled, moaning scumbags who resort to anger and aggressiveness directed at people more successful than them to mask the underlying sense of failure reflected in their own miserable lives.

The way our fans turn on players so quickly is a fvcking disgrace IMHO. I think bar Wes all of the others have had a thread devoted up slating them. Our fans are so fiercely negative it's shocking. This what I think will happen next: Pearson will lose his job today or tomorrow. MON will turn us down. We'll get some other poor sod in and within a year our knobhead fans will be hounding him out. Fvcking sick of the same old story.
Guesty Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 I agree, it's the people that seem to revel in our poor form just so they can go we were right that annoy me. Fair enough if you don't like Pearson but it's the sanctamonious, patronising way they gloat and ram it in peoples faces when we lose - I don't get it.
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Our fans are just like any other football fans I would suspect. Incredibly fickle. That's just how it is. It's not the fans who have only won one in 11, it's the team and the manager. A football forum is about views, opinions, some worth reading, some not, some thought out, some not, some passionate, some daft, some inspiring. That's the raison d'être of a football forum. You don't like it? Then leave. IMO.
Stuliasz Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 Brilliant post Haydos and sums up my exact thoughts on the state of things perfectly. Think I might just keep my browser open on this page and not leave until the end of the season.
ScouseFox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 If you don't like it, don't read it. Stay off the forum. Or use the ignore button. There are a lot of intelligent, interest posts on this forum, and if you just start ignoring the mindless ******, you'll enjoy it a lot more. Oh and stop getting so wound up. Posts like this will have seenitall, DT etc smiling to themselves for at least the next week.
Swiss_tony Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 so you mean because they are right when they make a comment in the face of blind postivity and are subjected to vitriol themselves, they are actually wrong?

No. You're clearly not getting it, I thought his point was very obvious. Maybe you need to read it again.
Crinklyfox Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 There are many negative comments about NP and the team - sooner or later the owners are going to react and sack him. I'm not convinced that will solve the problem which probably puts me in the minority. I can see NP going then having success at another club while our new manager gets the abuse.

I think it's good that we have some fans who aren't willing to just accept that we've got a load of tossers. It gives the forum some hope. 'All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing'
MooseBreath Posted 1 April 2013 Posted 1 April 2013 These the same fans that raised the roof for the entire game on Friday as they sat through yet another diabolical losing performance from players who are more than happy to just tell them to **** off?

They may have very negatives outlooks but they don't hate and abuse as much as some of the people on here.
