Agree with Haydos. Not only is it vitriolic but it also, for the most part, comes from people of incredibly limited intelligence. At a game when I look at the sort of people in the crowd it's no surprise that of those that look mentally able use a computer you end up with the sort of comments quoted in the first post. Basically football and Leicester attract a lot of thick, hate filled, moaning scumbags who resort to anger and aggressiveness directed at people more successful than them to mask the underlying sense of failure reflected in their own miserable lives.

Come on James, how can you possibly verify such a statement?!

**** you as well very one as a say and and if you don,t like it do what your saying and f off go to cov you p

Oh right, fair enough.

Yeah I'd also like to agree with Moose (shivers). It works both ways. Not a single player (bar Kasper and Morgan) or the manager deserve anything but fúcking abuse for the past 2 months of performances. And as soon as they get it they don't like it and throw a mardy and tell the fans, the people who make this club, to fúck off.

Fans need to get behind players, but players need too occasionally give fans something to get behind.

These the same fans that raised the roof for the entire game on Friday as they sat through yet another diabolical losing performance from players who are more than happy to just tell them to **** off?

No they're probably not those fans.

They're probably the ones who do nothing until they can find a reason to moan and shout at Pearson (or at least the ref).

Agreed, but there are fans who act like arseholes when the players are trying, and winning even, no?

The only thing worse than those fans the OP is talking about are the holier-than-thou crew who come on here and lay into anybody who doesn't support the club in exactly the way they proscribe.

Karma, hes arrogant toward the fans and treats us, (via the media) as little more than annoyances.

Our fans are just like any other football fans I would suspect. Incredibly fickle.

That's just how it is.

It's not the fans who have only won one in 11, it's the team and the manager.

A football forum is about views, opinions, some worth reading, some not, some thought out, some not, some passionate, some daft, some inspiring.

That's the raison d'être of a football forum.

You don't like it? Then leave.

IMO.

This, well said again Col

Go to a game, look around you. It's bloody obvious. Large swathes of our support are essentially angry half wits. Imagine Hodor from Game of Thrones on cocaine multiplied by about 10,000.

Haydos wasn't telling people how to support the team, he was pulling people up on the level of hatred, anger and downright nastiness that they feel entitled to come out with both in the stadium and on here. It's moronic, boring and a very sad reflection of football fans.

I actually agree James, look at my post again.....

Do you know what 'support' means? I'm going to assume not.

**** you as well very one as a say and and if you don,t like it do what your saying and f off go to cov you p

And this is exactly the kind of articulation I'd expect. Well done sir.

don't kid your self haydos, our fans are no worse than most clubs.

you just managed to insult them by calling them so thick they shouldn't even be supporting us.

Presumably leicester city deserves more erudite and well qualified supporters like yourself?

fortunately for the rest of us, you don't get to make that judgement.

Yep. Where were you today? At the game or too busy angrily typing away, railing against those who've travelled 50+ miles to go to the game to get behind the players only to be treated by an apathetic display, yet again?

It frustrates me that you get these knobheads swearing and bollocking the players for every misplaced pass, but I would never be so arrogant as to tell others how to show their passion for the team.

The sad thing is that I'm sure the likes of 'seenitall' '5waller5' and others are happy this has happened, so they can have that 'told you so' smug attitude.

I'm a student and live in Sheffield, I can't afford to go to games.

I'm not telling them anything. I'm calling them dickheads, it's a forum that they've infested for weeks and months and I'm giving my opinion on in. A lot of people seem to agree.

Look at the people who have give positive feedback to the first post. Now look at the majority of people in the matchday thread. Massive disparity huh?

As per usual, its the people shouting loudest who get heard. Why the mods don't give out sweeping bans to the pond-life who inhabit this board is beyond me. Given that some of us are 'in exile', this board remains a link to both Leicester the city and Leicester the club. People like seenitall, 5Waller5 and formidable ruin any semblance of enjoyment I have for either of these things.

It's the natural state of any football club. There are elements of all types of fans: patient ones, impatient ones, angry ones, quiet ones, vocal ones etc. At the moment it seems like the angry ones outweigh the rest, which is understandable given our frankly shocking run of form and the performances to go with it (Only listened on the radio today as not in the country but sounded like Barnsley had attack after attack and that we didn't want to keep the ball). I agree that some of our fans are determined to be angry and shout dogs abuse at the players and manager. Some have had it in for Nigel ever since he was appointed. That's just the state of football fans, not everyone can agree! If we did all agree FT probably wouldn't exist as it is. A forum is there for people to talk over a common love for the club, and to exchange differing views over that club.

The original post, IMO, pointed at some fans in the stadium who seem to have pure hatred for players and the manager. I feel like the forum here is actually very balanced, with it's extremes of course, but all in all we're just like any fans in the country: happy when we win, annoyed when we lose and play shit like today. There are some who seem like they would rather us lose and Pearson get sacked now, and seem to intend to go to games waiting to abuse. But, everyone pays their money and is entitled to their opinions, so long as their shouting abuse isn't so vile that it is detrimental to the enjoyment of other supporters who also pay their money.

Anyway, today was awful. The last two months have been awful. I stillback Nigel and the team but this faith is wearing ever thin. If we don't make the play offs come May then I reckon it's time for change

Some of us live hundred of miles away, for work or personal reasons. If you want to pay for my transport costs and match day ticket, I'll PM you my details.

Despite the fact most of them are mindless morons, the Bristol City fans I live around constantly repeat the phrases 'always believe' and 'keep the faith', regarding relegation fears. But surely at our 'hour of need' us foxes could do with using these phrases to have belief in our promotion/playoff push. Yes I know that the players don't deserve praise and support at the moment, but imagine how dispondant and gutted they'd feel if they read some of the nasty, non-football abuse on here (cvnt, tw*t etc)

Now i agree with a lot of the comments on here regarding players not trying etc but for the remaining games, we should really unite and support the lads so we can have a shot at Wembley. Haha i know im very optomistic but cmon city. I really feel that the club(owners) are desperate to succeed with the fans and I genuinely felt emotional when I saw the video at the KP on friday (the one with the famous goals and the foxes face) I felt deeply proud of the club. Now I am young and optimistic but cmon city get behind the lads, cos lets be honest we cant get any worse! Just a little plea to make our final few games a fcking cauldron of noise!

Cmon LEICESTERRRRR
