Due to tonight's results, if we win against Brighton on Saturday, we're back in the play-offs.

Yes our form of late has been poor and all that but if we could somehow manage to grab the three points then who knows.

Bolton are the team to watch - they're absolutely flying.

We've heard this about so many teams, but when pretty much everyone gets it in their own hands they bottle it like we did.

For us to have 1 win in 12 (quarter of whole season) and still be 1 win from 5th it shows you that everyone struggles when it comes down to it.

This will come down to the final day.

Was just about to quote the same post.

Was us in Jan/Feb, then Forest in Feb/March and now Bolton seem to be in form.

At the end of the day, all teams will have good and bad spells (ours is a very extreme case) but we're at the lowest of the low right now, morale has hit rock bottom. Kinda reminds me of the 09-10 season when we had a spell similar to this at just this point in the season but we turned it round and built up some momentum. Clutching at straws maybe but who knows!! Certainly too early to rule us out IMO.

Who knows, maybe Brighton will be the game that we begin picking up points again? Every game is different and we shouldn't be ruled at all IMO, especially because by 5pm on Saturday, we could be 5th.

We are the best team in Europe! Nigel is God and Wellens is misunderstood as a footballer!

Now you see you are making a joke by being overly positive and the sentence you have wrote is equally as ridiculous as the other end of the spectrum that we get on other threads when people are not joking saying things like i.e NP as ruined this club , NP is this or that he is the anti Christ basically hate filled sometimes vile comments about a human.

Now don't mistake this for a Pearson bum post there is a difference between being closed eared toward negative Pearson comments and supporting who ever is manager and therefore a Representative of my beloved Leicester City and will continue to get my full support whilst he is still in charge .

All this hate and slander that goes on on this site does nothing to add to the misery that transfers on to the terracesand then on to the pitch and back again it's just a never ending negative circle .

I am positive we will win on Saturday but not so positive about us going on a winning run which would help us in our cause of staying in the playoffs but as cc_star says it will go down to the last day.

Absolutely! The problem with the last two months isn't just Pearson. It's the players, high expectations from foreign sugar daddy owners, negative atmosphere at home, hassling on twitter, booing home and away, slating the players win or lose on radio leicester.

We all lose our cool, we all say things we don't mean. But. We are all here because we love our football. Otherwise we'd be certified lunatics.

But with or without Pearson this overly negative outlook can't be good for anyone. You can look at it as 2 months of poor form. Or you could look at it and still think, only a win away from 5th.

A win does seem a million miles away, but I personally won't give up hope until it's mathematically impossible. Besides, it's the Leicester way right?

Yeah but they have a right to an opinion and they care for the club are amongst the comments passed too, which in a democratic society, you cannot argue with. I am positive by nature but not everybody is!

Fact of the matter is we've been totally gash for two months and yet we still have a chance.

Just shows how completely devoid of quality this league is. It's dire.

Competitive it may be, but don't expect to see decent football. You're spoilt if you do... lol

We will win 2-0 on Saturday. I get the idea that we tend to play well when nothing is expected. You might have a laugh here, but I genuinely believe that we will get 10-12 points from the games against Brighton, Bolton, Watford, Palace and Forest. And if that gets us in the play-offs, we will lose the home leg. ;)

I'm not saying they are not entitled to an opinion just that those opinions are sometimes OTT and not helpful at all . We need more level heads at this club . If the last ten years plus as taught anything is that being hot headed and implosive does not work we need a longer term view of things.

Want us to win of course, but if we do will then have to put up with 6 days of gloating by certain posters wanting "Saint Nigel" (the finest manager the footballing world has ever seen!) to be given the freedom of the city etc etc, until we get turned over live on sky yet again!

I really don't like the attitude that we're never going to win again. Some people seem to believe this season is over, that we can't achieve anything now.

As bad as things are now they can change, you've seen it happen already with us this season on a few occasions.

I don't know how to feel about Saturday as I don't know which Leicester will show up and if we will have a manager. I feel we could rise to the occasion and start playing some good football now were against the good teams but I also think if we play like we have been we will get completly walked over. I think really we have to change something and I think that's the strongest back 4 we could pick and I think we're going to need that against Brighton. I think also king knocky Kane and waggy should try and get the service into wood. Let's hope we win and get our promotion push back on track. COYB Foxes Never Quit!!!!!!

I was and I was pretty appalled. IIt's that kind of performance that drains my hope. Before that we were playing okay, not great but losing by one goal and perhaps deserving a few results here and there. But Barnsley was awful, truly terrible - no belief, fight, effort or quality in the 1st half.

I'm hoping that was a one off but if it wasn't and that's what we're going to see from now on - no fight, no belief - then we're done.

I was. We were poor and gutless. Granted. That doesn't mean that Pearson and the lads haven't had a heart to heart. Talked about what went wrong. Doesn't mean to say that they haven't all taken a good long look at themselves and reevaluate why they signed for us.

Because at the moment, that's what I'd be doing. If you don't wanna believe we can do it then fair enough. Your choice. More than entitled to it.

Stranger things have happened. Stranger things will happen. There are a lot of ifs bits and maybes. Plain and simple though:

If we go up, everyone wins. If we don't, Pearson goes and the "boo boys" get their way.. And the rebuilding starts again. Or, the owners back Pearson if results aren't going to plan by end of October then get someone new in.

For me. I'd let Pearson finish what he started. It started in League one. Shipped out the past it players, bought in young, fresh talent...and we did alright. Our progress was largely haulted by Pearsons departure. He's back, and the slightest hint of uncertainty and we want him gone?

Have we not learnt our lesson the last time we let him go?
