Lambert09 Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 I was just wondering what people thoughts are on this. If St ledger plays a big part in a Millwall win tonight and Palace end up outside the play-offs will Pearson be given as much credit as the abuse he got for DJ? I was happy when I saw this loan looking at the fixtures, hasn't paid off this far but tonight could be the game that gives us out chance. Or do people think palace are too far ahead?
Deucalion Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Both things are unreasonable. A manager lets a player go out on loan because he doesn't feature in his plans, or the player needs to regain fitness. Anything a player does at another club is irrelevant. Therefore it was wrong to berate Pearson for allowing DJ to go out on loan and it would be wrong to credit Pearson should SSL play a blinder and helps Millwall beat Palace.
AKCJ Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 If he's let him go there to do Millwall a favour then why isn't he here doing us a favour?
Babylon Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 If he's let him go there to do Millwall a favour then why isn't he here doing us a favour? Because he's a bang average crock.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 I don't give a rats about who's playing for Wall they just need to turn up to save themselves from possible relegation and increase our very slim chances of gatecrashing the play offs! Come on you knuckledraggers!
Jaspa Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 The way things have worked out, it seems to have been the result that matters the most all around wins, Watford beat us to put pressure on the top for example. Millwall have been dragged down the table, noticably since losing at Wembley, so It would kinda be a moral thing to have them in a right ol' scrap for the last game. Where as if Palace win, it only solidifies their place in the Playoffs, If they lose all the teams underneath them are gifted better odds. So Id say a Millwall win
Jace Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Even if St Ledger scores a hatrick tonight it won't matter because we won't beat Forest unfortunately
cc_star Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 I fancy P'boro to beat Palace, so I hope Millwall get a result
kingfox Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 St Ledger is the man, leave him alone. You should of all got over the sale of Sol Bamba by now.
AKCJ Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Because he's a bang average crock. So why do we expect him to a job anywhere else?
Candidcamera Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 St Ledger will probably get sent off and they will win easily.
Babylon Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 So why do we expect him to a job anywhere else? Because their players are even more bang average.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Because their players are even more bang average. Got your teeth into a thread Babs?
Guest BlueBrett Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 St Ledger is the man, leave him alone. You should of all got over the sale of Sol Bamba by now. no chance mate! I'm still seething about Gradel!
Fox92 Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Of course Palace arn't too far ahead. If they lose tonight, then both 5th and 6th are still up for grabs on Saturday. Really hope Millwall win tonight. In relation to St Ledger (and DJ), it's just one of those things in football.
AKCJ Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 Because their players are even more bang average. So why do we expect him to have an effect against a club higher in the table than ours (who he isn't good enough for)?
Fez of Mahrez Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 St Ledger had the last kick of the game against Forest on Saturday, a shot saved by the keeper. If that had gone in, I bet Nige would have got a mention from some.
kingfox Posted 30 April 2013 Posted 30 April 2013 St Ledger will give away a penalty tonight. They will score it and win 1-0.
