In fact, they can look like anyone - you could walk past loads of different people on the street and they could be Muslim - you aren't to know.

Not all Muslim's wear 'certain clothes'. And appearance is visual. To 'appear' is, by definition, to be visible. What they chanted or shouted doesn't relate to how they 'appear'. Not everyone is converted solely by terrorist ring leaders . And not all converts do so in the hope of going on to be extremist or whatever. Converting to Islam does NOT mean they turn against the country they've lived in . As for the 'some freaks believe some story about a god', does that mean you can't convert to Christianity?
