StanSP Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Expecting 21 points from these matches. Nothing less. Even when we play on the same day. Should be top of the league by August by some way. Job done.

BrakesPress Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Hope we see some Foxes fans at the New Windmill Ground on July 12th. We will be the highest ranked of the non league sides you are playing, having been promoted to the Conference North last season (how good does that feel to say that?! ). We have been assured that there will be a strong first team squad coming down, so we are looking forward to it. Leicester will be the biggest club we have hosted at our current ground, so we are hoping for a good crowd. Living in Hinckley as I do I will have to tap up some of my Leicester supporting friends..! Neil_LCFC Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Playing a home friendly which is normally against decent opposition the same time as an away Leicester XI friendly against Corby will mean Corby won't benefit from our travelling support, real shame for them financially if it is the same day. Agreed with this which is a shame. At the minute York is the only one I'm struggling with.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 For me that pre season looks pretty dull, we're playing too many non league teams! no disrespect to them but i can't see how that's going to help in the pre season apart from fitness. We need to play tougher opponents from league one and the premier league. The home friendly on the 27th July Celtic perhaps?

Depends who we're playing at home really. If it's a big German side or one of the Old Firm, it'll go down well. If it turns out to be a mid-table Premier League side, a lot of fans will sack it off and go to Corby.
Steve@lcfc Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 At least this seems a bit more organised than last season when fixtures were added and taken away like a load of 5 year olds counting
Jiggers the Fox Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Will be getting to most of these. York, Vale especially. Ilkeston i've always thought is a nice little ground aswell. It's got a funny clock in the corner.
Voll Blau Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Leamington is a serious night out. Would recommend getting a hotel and heading to a club called Smack if you're thinking of going to that game with a group of mates.
Foxy Mofo Posted 31 May 2013 Share Posted 31 May 2013 Ex leicester star Steffan Moore plays for Leamington. Seen them play twice this supporting Gosport Borough.
