Which part?

Barnsley at home. How can you predict that?

I guess you have a 1 in 46 chance at least..

lol

We did. Still can't be Norwich though because they won't enter until the 2nd round.

QPR away is one of my favourite fixtures although they can forget it if they don't seriously lower their prices.

Sheff Weds away would be one of the best actually. We'd have a good 5,000 there for the first day and it's winnable as they're utter shite.

I'm all for this. Famously bad stewarding at Hillsborough aside.

I wouldn't mind Doncaster either. It's an identikit bowl ground, but the chippies are excellent on a sunny away day and if vocal fans turn up, you can usually generate a decent atmosphere there.

Don't suppose anyone has a list where they have the exact dates every game will be on? Normally release one prior to the fixture announcement.

I think anything except an easy home game. If we get Yeovil, Barnsley, Millwall etc theres a chance of a shock and a waste of an 'easier' fixture. I remember Walsall beating WBA 4-1 and they ended up getting relegated/promoted respectivly. Also Reading lost 1-2 vs Plymouth at home and ended up winning the league with the best ever points tally.

I personally hope we get a decent away like Shef Wed, Bournamouth, Brighton etc or home vs a stronger team.

I hope the last 6 games consist of 4/5 easier games against teams near the bottom. Obviously its not known who would be down there when it actually came to the games, but say we had like Yeovil, Barnsley or Doncaster at home final day, Id be pretty sure we'd win that should we need it to get promoted for example.

So IMo the last 6 are more important than the first few as freak results occur often first day.

To be honest I think the first day result is largely irrelevant. Always nice to start with a win but it means nothing really if you don't.

Yep. Besides, we struggle to beat 'easy' teams all year round. I hate to roll the cliches out but there are no 'easy' fixtures, there are fixtures we should be winning but no team wins every game they expect to. We're capable of beating anybody and capable of losing to anybody.

It doesn't really matter when you play teams, you could argue that we want an easy run-in but we got a very hard one this season and we actually got decent results against Brighton, Palace and Forest, whereas we got terrible ones against crapper teams for the previous 3 months.

Anyway, I quite fancy Donny away first game actually, hopefully I'll have more money this season and I'll go on a few away trips, I really enjoyed our last trip to the Keepmoat, up until the match anyway. It's not a guarantee you'll get to a decent pub on away days but the one in Doncaster was packed, and EVERYONE got wasted. Happy Days!

Yeovil at home or away, Blackpool or Bournemouth away will suit me.

Praying Reading away doesn't waste up a Saturday away day. The only times we've won there in the league (from memory, has been a weeknight!)
