FoxLAD Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 Would this not be a a Whitbread scenario? a good experience defender who's injury prone? who if isn't fit and plays will get abuse by everyone. Would love the guy here don't get me wrong, but Whitbread and Upson both high earners and always injurned/not match fit
dog_4 Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 If he's looking for the best contract! He'll come to us! Always hearing we're blowing the competition for signings.
Guest shearfox Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 Well I'm not sure, he was at one time going to be one of the best in the prem, but now what has he done. There again, maybe a move to us could be what he needs and any sort of return to form would be a great benefit.
munf1987 Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 Massive wages surely? Can't see much happening in defence until one or both of St Ledger and Konky have moved on. I think someone like Hobbs is more realistic. I doubt Hull will ever do business with Leicester again after the Kasper bids. so Upson would be more realistic. I would take him if he can prove his fitness and wages are not too costly. Would like to see us try and get Keane back on loan first though. He will be a top player, just needs to bulk up abit
Fox92 Posted 14 June 2013 Posted 14 June 2013 Would this not be a a Whitbread scenario? Nah. Whitbread is rubbish.
MPH Posted 15 June 2013 Posted 15 June 2013 I searched high and low in Benidorm for one of those, no luck though... Looks like he will end up at brighton with that kind of deal lol Got to love auto correct!
Aus Fox Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 Anyone heard any more on this, I would love Upson and Wes at the back. De Laet can play Lb and slot Moore in at Rb would be a solid back 4 in the championship. Has he signed somewhere else? Any one know if we offered a contract to him or trial?

woznotwos Posted 3 July 2013 Posted 3 July 2013 I searched high and low in Benidorm for one of those, no luck though... you sure it wasn't Brighton?
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23256243 Signed for Brighton
Bausor Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Past it now they can have him, probably silly wages too
Guest shearfox Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 he will be good in this league if he can even get half his form back, but it would be a gamble as I don't think his wages are going to be cheap.
Matt Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Yes we need a majority of youth but I feel experience heads would give us a final push.
