Dan Posted 13 April 2014 Posted 13 April 2014 A bit of reading tells me Spartak Moscow will move into their first ever permanent ground for the 2014/15 season. That'll be quite good. Wrecking something they've waited their whole history for with offensively awful football. To be fair these have a serious basis to be a class side. Spartak have some quality players.

Beliall Posted 14 April 2014 Posted 14 April 2014 for the first time im agreeing with other in that this game appears fixed, changed my tactics several times in a match, trying to claw goals back, score a 92nd min equaliser, in 3 mins added on, screen goes black, time zooms to 93, ai then kicks off , runs down the othe end and scores the winner. fixed

Dan Posted 15 April 2014 Posted 15 April 2014 I lost to a side who played a 3-4-2-1, the 3 being centre backs, the 4 being two wing backs and two defensive midfielders. The saddest part was the utter inevitability that I'd dominate and lose. The second they broke through one on one I knew they'd score. I'm sorry but the game has picked a winner by the time you kick off. There is no way, absolutely no way I can dominate and lose this often. I never ever win when I'm outplayed.

Apparently I can win at Liverpool, Everton and Spurs as well as getting a draw against Arsenal.. Yet when I play West Ham, Cardiff, Stoke etc I have no chance and get beat.

Fox92 Posted 17 April 2014 Posted 17 April 2014 I've never seen anything like it. Just played Liverpool, away. Had 18 shots including 8 "clear cut opportunities". Didn't take any of them and lost 4-1. It's just standard for me this season, one step forward and three back. Come off it now in frustration.

Managed to grind out enough results to remain in the playoffs...for 90% of the season. A 7-game winless run with 5 defeats soon put paid to that though and finished 9th At least most of the dross were only on one year contracts and can be shifted this summer ready for a re-build.
Stadt Posted 18 April 2014 Posted 18 April 2014 I resigned at Monaco ages ago and I haven't played since but yesterday I played for a few hours and got the job at relegated West Brom after turning down Villa who were relegated along side us (can I say us?). Anyway I was given a transfer budget of £1.8 million and a wage budget that consisted of a half eaten bag of Worcestershire Sauce Walkers, started shifting out some of the high earners but there's no takers for Andlka who's on £50k a week, Sessegnon is on stupid money too. Macauley left for relatively little but stats-wise he wasn't great and I already had similar defenders in Reid, Dawson and Olsson. I signed Martin Petrov, Junior Stanislas and some guy from Zurich for a combined fee of £1.1 million which wasn't bad business but I hoped for better but the lack of decent (don't laugh) wide players needed addressing. The loans of Thiévy, Goran Popov and Vydra ended leaving voids upfront and at left back so in came Jorge Galan for 625k from Rangers. Throughout the other dealings Claudio Yacob, rated as the clubs standout player, was unhappy and was transfer listed then fortunately he'd had a change of heart and declared he wanted to stay. Then came in Liverpool with a solid offer of £11m for him, much to my surprise - anyway reluctant to sell I took the piss a bit with the negotiation requesting a ridiculous £15million with a 50% sell on clause along with Suso, thinking they'd just end their interest. Surprisingly they came back with an offer of £23 million which I snapped their hand off for. Now with more money and boosted be the return of loanee Berahino from newly promoted Leicester I looked to strengthen further by signing Leonardo Ulloa for a not too shabby 3 million and drafted in Jack Robinson to fill the gap left by Popov at left back. My attention was now turned to the CB position, whilst Dawson, Olsson, Reid and Ridgewell are plenty good enough for the Chalpionship, I felt they were too similar and they all lacked pace so I tried to sign Bartley from Swansea but his agent was a dick so I'll have to look elsewhere.

Signed Sofian Chahed (better RB than De Laet, better DM than Hammond and good cover for Knockaert all rolled into one) and Simon Davies on frees and loaned in Vellios from Everton (great player) and Gary Gardner from Villa plus a young keeper. Konchesky is wank need a replacement but he's still on 30k/week even though in real life he took a pay cut. I can't sign a replacement since I'm projected to be just £35,000 of the acceptable losses for FFP. Question, Vellios is out of contract at the end of the season, when can I offer him a contract? It's 1st of January and it won't let me. The regulations must have changed since the last FM I played two years ago.

I'm sure England to England free transfers cannot be arranged in January.1st only applies to signing players from abroad I think...
