Anyway, here's the end of 2nd season summary. Had a shit hot end to the season, winning a lot at home but struggling away. A lot of 1 goal victories but the season was capped off with a 3-1 win against Chelsea at home. Still not really got any money so had to wheel and deal to keep a strong, deep squad. I would have liked to have brought a proven striker in but sticking with Woody as he's somehow managed to back 20 league goals. I play 4-2-3-1 mainly so 3 strikers does me, Fierro will compete for a starting spot hopefully with the Milan loanee as backup.

Struggling who to be on this, can anyone recommend a team from England, Italy, Spain or anywhere else that was fun to manage in

Had this conversation with you before - but try France. There's something I find very catchy about managing in Ligue 1 and I can't put my finger on it.

Ferreira Carrasco on a free is a serious find. Fair play.

Good potential, fingers crossed his development continues as he was a bit frozen out at Monaco by the looks of it.

Suppose that's the beauty of these tycoon clubs. They buy that many good players they don't need you can nab some cracking players on the cheap.

Flying with Leicester so far, won every game.

lol Forgot all about that.

Just won 0-4 at Charlton. Taylor-Fletcher with a hat-trick. I'm starting to love this man.

he is a good player in the game, same with bakayogo.

Richie De Laet had a ridiculous Prem season, averaged about 7.62  in the league. 9 MOTM's I think.

Left at the end of the season a free back to Belgium though cause I was stingy with wages :(

post game interview. slag him off and get a warning.

wasn't given the opportunity

im calling conspiracy  from the fa, they knew i was going to rip into the ref

Bakayogo is miles better than Konch at LB in the game.

In all my games so far, he's got at least a 7-7.5, any result, and a few MoTM along the way.

I've had to totally change the way my team plays. In my promotion season from Serie B we were set up 4-3-2-1, playing fairly attacking football, conceding a few but generally out scoring most opponents. After about 12 games in Serie A, the defence was a lot tighter, we weren't creating enough chances but conceding and losing 1-0 an awful lot in the last ten minutes. I've now taken out an AMC and added an extra DMC which has been working wonders at 4-1-3-1-1. I've ground out draws against top teams like Milan, Juventus, Napoli by totally locking them out. Then with lower teams around me I've counter attacked with rapid wingers, gone 1-0 up, switched to the extra DMC and then shut up shop in the last 10 minutes by taking off the remaining AMC and going to a 5 man defence. Excluding events like giving away penalties that are out of my hands, this has got me out of the relegation zone and up to mid-table after the winter break.

i did that season 1 in africa, need 5 under 23's in the match squad and no more than 5 foreingers in the squad total, panic bought 3 decent 19-21 yr olds, they turned out ok fortunatley

I'm a slave to attacking passing football. I just can't bring myself to play it any other way except in away games against the top 4 where I'm all about counter attacking on the flanks.

Is there a way of bringing more african/south american regens into the game without adding loads of leagues? I've noticed in previous ones you mainly see European talent taking over and it seems a tad unrealistic.

I scout africa but they never really come back with anything.

I know what you mean, it really pained me to have to change. I don't have the players to sustain it in Serie A at the moment. My hope is that should I stay up I'll have a bit more cash and some of my youth players that are coming through will be able to handle the attacking football better.

As an aside I recommend Simone Benedetti from Inter to anyone looking for a good young DC. I bought him from Inter for £184k in my second season and now in my third I'm getting £4-5million offers from Inter to buy him back. He's played a lot of first team football for me so I'm not sure how he develops without it.

Liam Moore is solid. Not amazing stats but promising. still performs well and is still in my first choice partnership going into my 2nd season in the Prem.

3-4-1-2 is the one at Leicester, mark my words.

I've only signed Stephen Hunt, Simon Davies and Hearts midfielder Jason Holt (£160k). The first two offered me decent options as wide midfielders and they're doing a decent job, wasn't expecting fireworks from either. Holt's been a pretty solid buy for the money.

I'm just a bit worried about defensive cover. Certainly need a new centre half. I've got Morgan, Moore & Wasilewski playing excellently in a back three but Miquel fvcked off back to Arsenal (I'm a complete prat for agreeing that), and Whitbread's been poor every time he's played.

Also Drinkwater kicked off at me, the utter tit. Moaned that there were 'too many players in his position' even though he's started every single game. Told him to prove he deserves his place there and he wasn't having any of it. Kept him playing for now but if he keeps going into every game with his morale as 'abysmal' then he won't be here in the summer, I'll cash in.

I don't think I'll keep this up all year but no reason I can't go up.

The ****? I've just finished 7th and got shit all? I'll post some of my finances/post season stuff in a bit.

Still got the Thais, so I assume they gave me quite a bit but I think getting into the Europa League really helped out. Passed FFP by £40million as well, don't really know if that has any bearings.
