Unfair as well - my keeper did it once and was shown red. Any time after that, must have been about 4 or 5 times where there keeper has done it and only got booked!
Haydos Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 Made all my signings yesterday. Spent about £4mil (the majority of that on Forestieri), ended up with about 10 new players. Dragged in a piss poor £4.1mil for Knockaert. Refuse to keep a player around who doesn't want to be there but couldn't get any more. He had a small tantrum on mine but still had contract so I carried on playing and did our talking on the pitch, eventually he came round and now he's one of my most important players in the prem.

They sometimes get a yellow depending on the proximity of opposition players though.

Who have people signed so far - along the lines of Adryan or Pekalski last year that are nailed on must haves? I'm struggling this year for ideas.
21st Century Fox Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 My PSG link-up pays off once again. I've currently got 5 loanees from them 3 of whom happen to be Silva, Menez and Benteke! Benteke is still only 25 and I'm paying absolutely squat for them.

Saying that, I'm not sure I need it, somehow on an 8 game winning streak (didn't involve any big teams though) through Dec and Jan and now sitting in 4th. Could do with a striker now though, had to sell Chris Wood finally in Jan because his contract runs out in the summer and he wanted to move to a 'bigger club'. Phhhft. Fierro is picking up some form though so he'll be leading the line from now on.

Beliall Posted 20 November 2013 Posted 20 November 2013 strengthened in january break, bought a CB and a back up, quality striker and it seems to be working, alo played the u19's in the cup the year and i think its made the difference, 7 points clear in 1st with 4 games to play. if i fail this time i wont be happy at all. Miloy is a monster, as soon as we went top hes gone into overdrive, and hes the captain. remaining fixtures are all winnable, polokwane are the hardest tema but have them on the last day, hopefully we'll be champions by then

Is there a Prem above yours? You can move teams within a continent if you build your rep up I assume?

You can move teams within a continent if you build your rep up I assume? move teams as often as I like. yes there is a prem. but my rep is sucky. still making a name for myself. ill get these promoted then probably get a new job if a good opportunity comes along. this is a selling club, I have to sell any good youngsters to keep the board happy. need some financial security to win the trophies.

Lost 1-2 to Liverpool first game, evened the game (which logically makes no sense, they're far better in every position), their winner was a late one from Toivonen, he hit the bar with a header, it seemed to drop right next to my keeper who just left it for him to head in? I've made a lot of my signings with bouncing back up in mind, as ridiculously negative as that is.

I agree. but im saving europe for last. unless the leicester job becomes available at the right time. theyre in a relegation battle every year. roy keanes in charge now. their 4th manager in 3 seasons.

21st Century Fox Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 I had the worst run I've ever experienced with Empoli earlier. All was going well, we were up to 7th, Benteke was knocking them in for fun, had a 7 game unbeaten run including wins over Milan, Napoli and drawing with Juve.... then went on a ten game run without a win. Benteke's goals just dried up, started to get a heap of injuries over the winter and then lost three players to AFCON. It all cumulated with a 2-6 loss to top team Samp with Libor Kozak scoring all ****ing 6 after we'd gone 2-0 up. We're now only 5 points off the relegation zone. We'd better stay up because I just signed 4 young players with 5 star potential on pre-contracts, beating out Barca for two of them.

Benteke's goals just dried up, This is very much similar to my Villa save got up to 6th in the league after about 10 games with Benteke scoring 13 goals in his 1st 8 games then he just went awful and scored about 1 in his next 12 and i went on a 10 match winless streak. FM is the perfect thing to keep me going throughout the lunch/tea breaks during the cricket.
