Is it possible for staff members to die on you? I've currently got an 84 year old Physio at Empoli, who I can't help but think I'm one hamstring injury away from him running onto the pitch and keeling over.

They usually just retire don't they? Don't think I've seen one that old before.

I'm only halfway into my second season he was 83 when I got there. I really hope he retires, I don't have the ruthless streak to let him go. Thankfully there isn't more interaction or I'd totally cave....

Me: So I was thinking you should probably spend more time with your wife...

Giovani [the 84 year old Physio]: My wife died last summer. Football's the only thing that keeps me going...

Me: ...... how does a new three year contract sound?!

Is Football Manager full version the same as the handheld version? If say a player retires they become a regen but you can tell it's the player who has retired??

No, well I don't think so anyway. If they retire, they either become a staff member (eg. coach, scout etc) or retire from the game completely. Regens are completely separate.

I'm starting to finally hit form with Dortmund. Doubt we'll win the league but I'd be disappointed if I didn't qualify for the CL.

My team looks very different. I've started blooding youngsters and they aren't letting me down.

Lingerak

Abate - Sarr - Hummels - Schmelzer

Bender - Sahin

Hofmann - Gaitan - Reus

Mkhitaryan

How does Mkhitaryan play up front?

No idea how but after 20 games of my first season in the Prem I'm in 4th place! Just been Manchester City 4-0 at home. In absolute dreamland. Nugent is banging them in for fun after Wood got injured. Narsingh and Knockaert have been immense as well.

Conceded 27 goals so far, with 12 of them being against the Manchester clubs earlier in the season. Coates and Moore have been ridiculous at centre back after a shaky start, same with Jenkison. Javi Garcia definitely my best signing of the summer.

Edit: Just beat Newcastle 1-0 but Narsingh is out for 4-5 MONTHS and Nugent out for 4-5 weeks. This is where everything goes pear-shaped then...

I'm part of a network game on FM13 with my mate and can categorically state that it will never work with people you don't know. Sorry to put a dampener on it!

34 games gone and my Wrexham side sit second in the Conference Premier! 2 points off top but only 5 ahead of 6th so we need to keep winning.

He's naturally a midfielder but through my own idiocy I blew most of my Lewandowski replacement money on a player that I agreed to loan out when signing him, completely unaware, so I've had to make do with trying to use Mkhitaryan as a striker and he's doing pretty well. Scored a rocket last game.

Playing online with a mate. West Ham and Fulham. I'm West Ham and have beaten Everton away and United at home in my first two games after a great preseason. James Corden will love me.

It's brilliant when you're both fully committed and have decent Internet. Me and my mate talk on Skype while playing and it makes things so much easier.

To expect people to be online at the same time, fully committed, just won't happen. It's a good idea but just not practical unfortunately.

Sigh. Schalke take 6 off me.

7th with Dortmund is frankly awful. I'd blame the fact it's a new game but doesn't seem to have stopped people like Haydos.

did i see that somebody brought this off CD keys, i want to get it and was wondering if everything was cushty with them?

Search CJS Cdkeys on facebook. Not sure if that's the one people keep mentioning but that's where I got it from and it's perfectly fine. Go nuts.

I purchased with them. No problems

I started last night as Southampton, signed Sully Muntari for £2.8m, drew 3-3 with Man City after being 3-0 up and my assistant manager suggested I tell the players I was pleased, not a chance! Not doing too badly though, sitting 7th after 8 games!
