Still sitting top of the league. Won 19, lost 2. 11 points clear at the minute.

Just got a £3million bid from Frankfurt for Schlupp, not sure what to do, some I just saved and come off the game. He's my first choice left back. I know if I get promoted he'll probably not be good enough but not sure who to get in as a replacement at the minute.

Get rid for that, he's not very good tbh and full backs seem to be generally pretty handy on this game. You're doing well in the league so get someone in on loan/free for cheap. Maybe go abroad?

Tempted to get this FM. Didn't bother for the first time in years with 14. What does everyone make it of it?

Sorry for the generic 'is the game any good?' sh*t, just wondering what you thought about it in comparison with 13.

the brazillian league is really confusing lol.

got man u as a parent club and just got amos on loan to replace logan

Just landed the Ukraine job. I cannot believe how good these are. Incredibly, the one position they lack is a top forward - how the roles have reversed there eh?

Played my first three games of the new season. Bizarre stuff.

Lost my first game 3-2 at Nice. Gambled by starting Kwateng and Dob and neither covered themselves in glory, I dominated the game but a hat-trick from Bosetti finished us off.

Then went on to play Lille at home. Ended up with another red card, another couple of injuries, and a very late winner from the visitors through some hideous defensive errors. Appalling start, confidence shot.

RC Lens away. Looking largely second best for most of it before Torres Nilo gets himself sent off. Utterly ****ing sick of these red cards now, I bet taking last season into account that's about 10 in as many games. It's absolutely ridiculous. My makeshift team ends up nicking it 0-2 with a 16 year old winger giving us the lead.

Something very unconvincing about our side though. Being reduced to playing a makeshift side after three games is terrible and it's my own fault for spending big on Dob, who will prove to be phenomenal eventually but it could well backfire in the short term.

Tempted to start playing my new Swedish left back over Torres Nilo. He's been a huge disappointment. I thought he'd be quality.

I'm £43k a week under my wage budget, yet the board won't let me adjust it to get another winger in. An even bigger insult is during this, Ntep's only gone and signed for ***** Rennais.

I keep getting "McClaren unhappy with Campbell's loan arrangement" conversation with Steve McClaren, every time i say the same thing, "he's not good enough, and he'll have to play a bit part role" or something like that.

McClaren seems ok with that, until he comes back 2 days later to have another chat! this has been going on for 3 months!!!

Gonna start a game with Kidderminster I think. Local, one of the better teams in the Conference and one of their best players was one of my best mates in school lol Cannot get settled in a game at all on this one sadly. Have the urge to play the game but just no real idea who to be

Is he not worth just getting rid of?

I think a harder element of this game is that you can't fool players by offering them a key player role (so you can match his wage demands for example) and then lowering it to say 'rotation' when he signs.

Am I the only one who thinks that player roles affects performance at all? I've always noticed players improve the poorer their role is, maybe I'm just seeing things but I'm convinced it happens. It's the same with players who are out of contract.

i havent had that problem with player status, but making a player captain certainly can improve performace.

@walkers, start unemployed with sunday league experience, choose 5 nations from 5 continents, and try and get a job

I started a few days ago a truly fascinating save.

Celtic with a twist. - My Girlfriend and and her Family are Celtic fans, and I've always had a big interest in them.

I've swapped Yeovil with celtic, and celtic with cardiff...

Scottish prem : Yeovil

Championsip: Cardiff

Premier league: Celtic.

Celtic are one of the only teams in europe to make a profit.

they were predicted to make 20m in the scottish premiership, so I move them to the prem, where we made around 121m profit in the first season, and a further 44m for the champions league

Achieving a 6th place finish.

Young defender van dijk scoring 10 goals from Centre back,

With Teemu pukki scoring 33 in all competitions.

Chris commons being one of the highest average ratings in the league with 7.29 over 35 games.

I was given £2m to spent, which I spent on signing Richairo Zivkovic for 500k

And Alex buttner from united for £1m upfront and £1m over 48 months.

On the last day of the season the board gave me an extra £8m to spend

Celtics reputation is phenominal, After 6 Months, I put an offer in for Lewandowski on a free, and miraculously he came to us over bayern.

Lewandowski:

£72k per week

50% wage rise

50% sell on fee - Got him on a free anyway.

£0 relegation release clause

£15k per goal

£10k per unused sub Fee - If he's sub I bring him on for 30 seconds at the end.

£1.9m contract loyalty.

£1m agent fee.

At the end of the season, he was risen to £110k per week (Which is worth it) as he has so far scored and assisted for fun. In a few months I will offer him a new contract, in which I will offer 130k per week straight. £2.5m Agent Feem with small clauses reducing the sell on fees etc.

If he does not accept I'll probably sell him as it wont be long before he's on 250k per week or something stupid.

So into the 2nd season after finishing 6th in the premiership (Getting to the quarter final of the champions league with easy draws until I lost 2-1 to real madrid) making £44m profit in the champions league.

I was given £48m to spend! (We ended up making a total of £165m profit with the high league finish, champions league and cup runs on low wages)

To which I secured some absolute bargains!!

a player from catania I think I remember? Plays as a RB called Belluschi, Got him for about £800k

Danny welbeck for £8m (been dropped to united U21)

Steven Jovetic for £9m

Chris Smalling £7m

John obi Mikel £6m

Jores Okore for £5m (Villa got relegated)

And Jack Grealish on a cheap.

These were with about £2m initial fee, and the rest over 48 months.

Since then I have seen arjen robben on the transfer list for £10m (aged 30, but will probably want 170k pw so he can shove it)

I also signed, Chris wood as back up.

Anthony knockaert.

Victor Valdes on a free transfer after contract expiring at barca

And a few youngsters on compensation deals.

Kevin de brueyn £7.5 (Thinking about it) but joe ledley and scott brown were absolutely awesome last season in my 4-4-2 so may just stick with them as both only 27-28

Playing a 4-2-3-1

Looks like this.

---------------------------------Welbeck-------------------

Jovetic--------Lewandow--------------------Knockaert

--------------------------------Brown/Ledley-------------

---------------Obi Mikel-----------------------------------

Buttner------Smalling---------Van dijk------Belluschi (Think that's his name)

--------------------------Valdes---------------------------

Just a heads up. If anybody needs a cheaper CB alternativ..

Van dijk has 4.5* potential (Top premier league player) and is ready to go into almost any squad (Was a rock scoring 10 goals in the premiership and averaging about 7.01 aged 22) Pure class for me atleast.

Buttner is also solid and cheap 4* potential.

Played 2 - Drew and won so far in 2nd season.

Loving it!

Also a heads up.... Granada striker Youssef El-Arabi

Finished the season in La Liga on 33 goals as europes top marksmen! (based on appearances, ratings and goals)

and was valued at £15m at the end of the first season! (Not sure what he was at the start)

Taken over a depleted Rochdale, rock bottom of League 2. They were 2 pts adrift of 22nd, but we won the first 2 games and narrowly missed out to Leeds in the FA Cup. Then I got battered by Peter Schmeichel's Hartlepool lol.

Going to be a tough one to keep these up. Getting crowds of 1,500

Interesting how Lee's games panned out there. Didn't think Celtic would instantly become one of the giants.

El Arabi's a great shout. Looked at him for Nantes but he's since developed into a player completely out of my price range.

Tip for you when you get a parent club....

Make sure you have free wages available ...

There is a flaw in the loans ;)

Go to your parent club I.E Manchester United.. Take a player who's young and will join you on loan with high potential like "Sam Johnstone" the goalkeeper....

Offer to take him on loan for the full season 0% wages and £0 monthly fee..

But also throw in there the cheeky £0 future fee they always accept..

If they are any good, offer £0 and United have to accept...

Obviously it has to be players that would join you though for example zaha would not join Leicester first season...

But there are plenty of talented young players that would, and if they don't want to negotiate a full time contract at the start... If you play them every week and have success I.e get promoted, they will negotiate ;)

Done it by accident with dedryk boyata then noticed they accepted it so put in a £0 bid.. Paid him 11k per week and within 3 seasons he was worth 9m
