The new chairman has pumped money in to the club, i had 10mil to spend!! so i bought the following.... Kallstrom was transfer listed and unhappy. Larsson was out of contract, he was joining on a free, but i decided to buy him early. Hopefully i'll challenge for the Europa League Nils-Eric Johansson? He's still going - bleeding nora.

Started as City, Out went Danns for 275k to Bournemouth and St Ledger for 1.3mil to Palace. Playing 3-5-2 with complete wing backs Won all my games convincingly so far, masses of possesion, lots of chances, just not very clinical, how realistic is this years eh?

Can you edit the prize money of a competition using FMRTE? I caved and re-installed FM13 a little while ago. I've got a Sampdoria save going that I'm enjoying but I'm a fair few seasons in and it's starting to stop being a challenge because the likes of Milan, Juve and co' can't keep up, primarily due to a lack of money. There's literally 0 prize money in the Serie A, the only way I really keep Sampdoria afloat is by signing out of contract players and selling them on in the following year. I'm doing well, I've won the CL twice now with some wonderkid regens but even that income doesn't stop the huge debt slide. Now if that's me, the human player, you can imagine how woeful the squads / finances of the so called giants of Serie A are doing. My previous Betis saves were fun because Real and Barca were always keeping up, this is threatening to get dull but I can't be ****ed starting again. (To sort of prove my point that I'm more interested in the finances of the other teams than myself, Man Utd have just offered 40m and 46m for my second choice right and left back respectively. Wtf? Both 4* regens I can quite comfortably replace with other wonderkids. Silly money.)

Haydos Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Right guys and girls, 14.2.1 patch is out. I think it's only a small bug fix update but it should mean the unemployment bug has gone so pentagon challenges are a-go-go once more. Also it is save game compatible.

Dan Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 Genuinely in with a shout of coming third. PSG and Monaco are a mile in front of everyone but 3rd-12th is tight, and we're flying at the minute. Only lost 1 of my last 13 and that was away at Monaco despite dominating. Knockaert's gone. Once again threw the toys out the pram and once again I'm disappointed to have only brought in ten million. Ruben Micael's the short-term replacement but I'll get someone in there better eventually. Want a CAM from La Berrichonne but they wanted £10.25mil and he's only 16, didn't have it either. Marseille away next. Win here and I'm up to third. This would be one of my best seasons yet considering my net spend is -£14mil.

If you scroll up you'll find someone was saying it was for sale online for under £20. Taken a gamble here and signed a 31 year old Vagner Love on a free. £25k a week for someone who'd be our best attacker, even if it is going to be short-lived.

You can edit other clubs financials, but not the league. I've just checked.

GLC Posted 3 January 2014 Posted 3 January 2014 I forgot i had the editor, used it on my Notts county save and got bored easily, so i disabled it for my current game. I don't like cheating, it takes the fun out of the game.
