jock2612 Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 NP didnot seem over confident using the loan market at all last night. Is we dont it will be a huge error.
Happy Fox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 I can see us bringing in Michael Keane on loan again but that is about it.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 NP didnot seem over confident using the loan market at all last night. Is we dont it will be a huge error. Just one of his tactical mind games my Jock friend!
FoxesBoyChris Posted 24 July 2013 Author Posted 24 July 2013 NP didnot seem over confident using the loan market at all last night. Is we dont it will be a huge error. NP is one of the best and most frequent users of the loan market so I'd be very surprised if he makes no use of it.
LCFC FOX Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Spurs fans want to get rid of Naughton, saying he's not good enough. But then I seen that Southampton want him
FoxesBoyChris Posted 24 July 2013 Author Posted 24 July 2013 I'd take Naughton back, although I prefer RDL.
Outfox the Fox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 I see Chelski want to loan out Josh McEachran again - "to get regular first team football". He'd be a good loan signing for City.
FoxesBoyChris Posted 24 July 2013 Author Posted 24 July 2013 It's all good loaning players but we definitely need to get ones who we can promise the right things. We can't offer everyone first team football (as much as I'd love to) and so we limit the talent we can bring in.
Soar Fox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 I'd take Naughton back, although I prefer RDL. Seriously?? I'd take Naughton everytime over De Laet.
Foxtrot Duo Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Seriously?? I'd take Naughton everytime over De Laet. Me too.
dave_the_fox Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 I'd take Naughton back, although I prefer RDL. I dont know whats stranger, the fact that naughton plays for spurs first team so theres no chance or the fact he would rather play rdl!
Stadt Posted 24 July 2013 Posted 24 July 2013 Piazon played for Malaga on loan last season, He was playing Champions league football last season, so a loan move to a Championship side is unlikely
crisp monster Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Jack Kane seemed a right boil on the bum during our run in. Loans are ok but if theres 'terms and conditions' where they must play if fit then I think that goes against you. It also must be disheartening for youth and fringe players who get pushed back down the pecking order when they might think 'this is my chance ' when someone else gets injured/suspended.

Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I'd take Naughton back, although I prefer RDL. *spits out coffee* WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! Jack Kane seemed a right boil on the bum during our run in. Jack Kane - lethal.
FoxesBoyChris Posted 25 July 2013 Author Posted 25 July 2013 I dont know whats stranger, the fact that naughton plays for spurs first team so theres no chance or the fact he would rather play rdl! I just think that RDL has come and made the RB position his own. I like him and rate his defending too. Naughton is great but I would still honestly take RDL over him as a RB in our system.
FoxesBoyChris Posted 25 July 2013 Author Posted 25 July 2013 Piazon played for Malaga on loan last season, He was playing Champions league football last season, so a loan move to a Championship side is unlikely If he can get PL football. If he cannot then he would take Championship football if it meant getting game time.
crisp monster Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 *spits out coffee* WWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA?! Jack Kane - lethal. oops Harry - sorry people's
Toffee_Fox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I'm led to believe the following are listed for loan by Everton; Shane Duffy, Vellios, McAleny (loaned to Brentford), Magaye Gueye, Luke Garbutt, John Stones, John Lundstram and Junior
ScouseFox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Threads like this make me want to hurt people. Some of these names have been playing regularly in Europe for either their parent clubs or out on loan to attract the attention of their parent clubs. And people think we should try and sign them? Mental. ps. Vellios. Please.
LCFC FOX Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 I'm led to believe the following are listed for loan by Everton; Shane Duffy, Vellios, McAleny (loaned to Brentford), Magaye Gueye, Luke Garbutt, John Stones, John Lundstram and Junior Not really seen any or know what positions they are to be honest, But is that the Duffy who is a CB?
Toffee_Fox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Duffy is a young promising centre half, he is 6ft 5 and Ireland u21 captain and Everton u21 captain. Vellios is a greek striker who looks promising but fell out with Moyes and therefore had no game time last season really. Gueye is a french winger who imo is very poor, suits foreign leagues which are a bit slower, was on loan in Ligue 1 last season. Garbutt is a LB who has been on loan to a few clubs, rated quite highly but behind Baines and Oviedo in the pecking order. Stones is RB who we bought from Barnsley in January, part of the England u20 world cup squad and rated very highly, expected to be loaned out to develop him. Lundstram is rated next in line to Barkley as a CM, was on loan at Doncaster last season and played almost every game for them, they're after him again. Junior is a Portugese central midfielder, more technical ability than physical, poor in terms of strength and very small, but could do a good job sitting in front of the defence.
LCFC FOX Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Yeah that is the Duffy I know then, Would like to see him in a Leicester shirt seeing as we need a new CB
