Dickov22 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Drinkwater number 4 seems strange if he's surplus to requirements. Probably nothing in it to be fair He not surplus to requirements
foxfanazer Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 He not surplus to requirementsOh right.Thought he was on the list of players that were told they could find a new club? Might be wrong
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 means fook all, was 21 last year Ohh didnt think he had one last year mate and dodnt he go on a season long loan to bury thats why he didnt play?

FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Oh right. Thought he was on the list of players that were told they could find a new club? Might be wrong He was/is. But if they don't get moved on they are gonna be part of the squad or you are simply paying them for no reason.
foxfanazer Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 He was/is. But if they don't get moved on they are gonna be part of the squad or you are simply paying them for no reason.I think he'll be a good squad player anyway. Don't know if he's on high wages though

I don't think Drinkwater is one of the players that has been told to move on, he is one of the only ones in that supposed list that would find a new club with ease. He's young, not on big dough and he'd have his suitors. Pearson loves him anyway, he only dropped him because he'd turned in to Ray Wilkins and the drunk Ray Wilkins not the crab passer from the 70's.

FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 He was 6 last year! Ok - lets make this clear for everyone. Squad numbers have no bearing on whether or not you play. In European leagues people have bizzare numbers like Cassano 99 and El Shawry 92. That said I like squad number day. And my Mrs lad has Wood 39 on last years shirt so that's a result. Although Im not sure his Kane shirt will be making an appearance for a while!!

Im expecting Drinklager, James and King to all start against Boro pal.... You watching Sat?
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Take it down the Stoney Cove and give it Fowler. I keep trying to "lose" it!!!! The lad even had me recording the U20's on EuroSport and I had to sit through 3 more of his inept performances. He looks like he is running in sand!

Not sure yet pal, am supposed to be coming back but I rinsed £800 in Scotland last week so i'm in ruins. I think Marshall or Knockaert will start with James and King. It's a good option to have though this 3-5-2.
Lionator Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Nice to see Matty James at 8. Big shout but he'll be our player of the season this year.
foxfanazer Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Nice to see Matty James at 8. Big shout but he'll be our player of the season this year.I think so too!
kingfox Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 James will be going on my shirt, about time I got a decent player on my shirt. Had St Ledger & Marshall last year, one was injured for most of the season then got loaned out, the other was crap. I've also had Abe, Wellens & Waghorn in previous years.

lcfcsnow Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Should have let Vardy have 33, he wanted it last season but we heaped extra pressure on him handing him the no 9 shirt and we've done it again.
LCFC1991 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Would have liked to have seen Cain and Taft given squad numbers.
Guest Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Should have let Vardy have 33, he wanted it last season but we heaped extra pressure on him handing him the no 9 shirt and we've done it again. So given that we've already established squad numbers mean the square root of nothing, why would having number 9 on your shirt mean extra pressure?
FrankieWorthoYaggedMyWife Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Shockingly - I know. I was aiming it at those that didn't pal Would have liked to have seen Cain and Taft given squad numbers. Why, they are not near the side now and if they push on the will get one James will be going on my shirt, about time I got a decent player on my shirt. Had St Ledger & Marshall last year, one was injured for most of the season then got loaned out, the other was crap. I've also had Abe, Wellens & Waghorn in previous years. Fooking hell you've had some mare's there!!!
peach0000 Posted 25 July 2013 Posted 25 July 2013 Which players have signed a new contract recently because with 25% of shirt printings i want to get one. However if say i get morgan and he leaves for forest i will feel like a right dick. So was wondering which players almost definitely wont leave.
