Conrad Logan

Where as Logan gets a bit of stick for doing what he is asked to do, be the reserve keeper, don't forget he has been out on loan and has played in what ever team he has been selected for and done it with pride as a Leicester play. None of the I want to start against the big team or I want first team football with out the spats or but i am on a sliiy wage so i anit going any where. Did he have a hissing fit under SGE ? No he just got on and did what he is paid todo.

Is this not what a pro footballer and squad member should be like?

As for his abilty I do believe he could hold his own in league 1/2 and is a good back up in the short term for Kasper

How many times have we had a thread like this? lol

I don't mind Logan being happy as a back up, better than having an un-happy keeper

That wasn't the question...do you think hes capable? im not saying I think he or isn't im just curious as I haven't seen him play in a long time

Yeah we've had a thread like this numerous of times lol

Yeah I do

I'm really happy with the Logan situation from the club's point of view, however does anyone think Logan lacks ambition. He's been at Leicester 10 years and seems quite happy not to play. Being a professional footballer is a relatively short career. I don't understand why he is happy year in year out to accept a role sat on the bench? I suppose the same could be thrown at Gallagher, although there is a slight difference as he feels he is good enough to claim a first team place.

If that's the case there was no need for you to comment on here then? correct. But as you did what makes you think hes capable?

If Kasper got sent off and was banned for 3 games or was out injured for a month or 2 Conrad would be fine, if he was out for 6 months then maybe we'd need to look for a loan but Conrad Logan is a quality no 2 keeper at this level.

Im not disagreeing with you but what do you base that opinion on?

Another case of a player improving when they don't play. Has everyone forgot his last outing against West Brom? Nightmare.

I wouldn't have any confidence in him starting at Carlisle nevermind in a league game.

Maybe he plans to for into coaching. He could be learning loads behind the scenes that keeps him happy.

on seeing Conrad Logan play, he hasn't lost his ability just his place in the team, btw you wanted to know why I said you are an idiot the other day, your posting of these pointless repetitive threads is proof of it

Lloyd Dyer was ****ing awful at Derby, 1 game doesn't make a player shit, Conrad had a bad game that's all

Jimmy,if im an idiot for posting on these repetitive threads? that's exactly what you have done you arse...therefor you yourself are an idiot according to yourself. Also if a player doesn't play he tends to lose his ability so when did you last see him play a competitive championship match? Also I didn't say he had lost his ability I basicly asked if other people thought he had...

Kasper is by far the best keeper in the league therefor I don't imagine a player who has played very few games in many seasons will be better, also Pearson would see both train and Logan would of played at least once last  year if he stood a chance

Jesus christ.

I think that maybe watfords keeper could well be

He's that good you don't know his name, but no I would personally much rather have Kasper than anyone else

Excuse me but why would I know the names of other teams players ? I live in the real world not the world of FM

Kasper certainly looks better than the keeper Hull finally brought in

McGregor, he's got champions league experience aswel but I would still take Kasper over him but I don't know his name through FM I know it through arsenal and watching the Watford vs LCFC games, you not read the programmes? and if you thought a player was good surely you would know his name

Conrad Logan is good enough as others have already said. He has performed fine on loan and in the development squad bar a few mistakes in the 1st team, which kasper has also been guilty of in some games. Kasper is a really good keeper but he too can have an off day. It's really good to for us to have a keeper like Logan, who is content to stay as a 2nd choice keeper but he still has the right mental attitude to train hard and aim to be as good a support for kasper he can be.

Thanks this was the simple answer I was looking for lol

I had this conversation the other day. I dont for the life of me understand why any professional footballer would be happy just sitting on the bench for most of his career. Sure he earns a good wage and he "plays" for a big club, but if it were me, I would rather be playing every week and earning less because surely thats the whole point of being in football. He clearly isnt that in love with the game, otherwise he would want to play and not just be in it for the money.
