Night Air Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 My friend and I are having a debate, based on the current squad, who is the best team? Thanks
Jimothy Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Man Utd - 1st Liverpool - 7th Debate over. To be fair that was last season. Liverpool have since strengthened in every area of the pitch, Man Utd haven't. I think man for man there's not a great deal, of difference, and now Fergie has gone they will be much closer to each other this season.
Guest kristianity77 Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I think Man U are still better this season, but I think the gap has closed a fair bit this time round.
Carl the Llama Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Even with their starting form and the strengthening Liverpool have done this window, Fellaini's addition is going to be this year's equivalent of the VP signing. Absolutely cracking player who's going to push the club up yet another gear. Utd for me.
Guest shearfox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 You have to be a right div to vote Liverpool. Or a Liverpool fan, there again that does go hand in hand...
ScouseFox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 On paper it's a right close one. Game's not played on paper though. United have a squad who won the league, Liverpool have some decent looking foreign youngsters who have started (3 games) quite brightly. Even then they made it a right struggle to beat Stoke at home for cryin' out loud.

Carl the Llama Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 What ? I take it that's your way of saying you disagree with my assessment of Fellaini. The lad's world class and Utd are going to be so much more handy in the centre of the park now, whether you agree or not.

Carl the Llama Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Please upload. Since it's happening I presume you want a picture of my bald ball-bag(well, I had to shave it jic)?
SystonFox Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Fellaini is not world class. repeat is not world class
Carl the Llama Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 Fellaini is not world class. repeat is not world class I refuse to countenance that. He's the next Yaya Toure. In other news: I've just found out he was born down the road from me, so that should change everything for you.
Haydos Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 I think Liverpool will finish higher this year. Neither will win the title. That means i think Man City/Chelsea for the league, Liverpool 3rd, Utd/Arsenal 4th.
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 2 September 2013 Posted 2 September 2013 United are a one man team I don't really like Yanited but this is such a ridiculous thing to say, especially considering that by the same blind logic Liverpool appear heavily reliant on the goals of Daniel Sturridge thus far....

They only perform when Van Persie is on form, I'm not going to get into the latter bit of your statement because it's ridiculous. I'm basing this of last season aswell.
Walker Posted 3 September 2013 Posted 3 September 2013 United have the best player in the league, that's the big difference
