Our Club is committed to Equal Opportunities as well as safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. Any applicant wishing to be considered will need to demonstrate they are able to share this commitment. The actual accommodation needed is: Flexible lodgings for 18yrs and above (LCFC development Squad) to provide high quality nutritional breakfasts and evening meals with occasional lunches. Family environment for 14yrs+ to provide support guidance, nutritional breakfast, evening meals and occasional lunches and to work in partnership with the player’s parent/ carer and the Club’s Academy staff Access to public transport and local amenities is desirable. The Accommodation we are looking for would need to be situated in and around Leicestershire. Our placements vary from short-term to long-term, with specialist accommodation, offering short-notice, limited accommodation for players on trial or holiday cover for other host families. If you are interested in applying to provide a caring home/accommodation then please be aware that this position is subject to a satisfactory enhanced Criminal Records Check [DBS] Disclosure and that all those 16yrs and above who are resident in the accommodation will be expected to apply immediately for a Criminal Records Check [DBS]. All applicants will be required to undergo a full assessment with our club CHILDREN’S WELFARE OFFICER before consideration can be made as to suitability. Those intending to host young players under the age of 16 years will be required to work within the requirements of Private Fostering Regulations.
