We are going to put those trees back into the forest of wildness...

Their fans on their forums are fearing coming to us big time. Need another 3 or 4 nil to boost goal tally.

Will be a difficult game - derbies always are. They'll be desperate to get their promotion campaign back on track and whether you like it or not, they have quality players in their squad. However, we shouldn't fear them and if we play to our potential are more than capable of winning this game.

Exactly.

Look at Newcastle Sunderland last week. Newcastle in decent form, Sunderland in no form at all, and it finishes 2-1 Sunderland. This week away from the derby furore and normal service has resumed. Derby are alway different, form goes out the window.

Id expect it to be our toughest game of the season so far.

There coming to us off the back of 2 defeats and 9 points adrift they will be desperate to get there campaign back on the rails and have some quality in there squad which could cause us some trouble.

All said though I expect a hard fought 2-1 win (cause we always win 2-1 at home)

Don't get too ahead of ourselves especially against the red scum. Will be brill if we do beat them but it will be a tight game

This.

They're a decent side, I'll be more than happy with a scrappy 1-nil.

Lets just keep our feet grounded and take one game at a time.

Too much bravado could come back and bite us in the arse!

Wood not available for this one - presumably due to international commitments

He said he was hoping to discuss this with the NZ officials...so maybe not.

I can't believe a moron has posted this. Good job our players and manager arent as arrogant. It wouldn't suprise me at all if they win. It's the nature of football.

The title of this thread is very Watford, we'll end up looking like mugs with anything other than a convincing victory.

Forest are a solid side who've had plenty of money spent on them over the summer, not to mention the fact their manager knows what he's doing at this level.

These two months will sort out whether we can or can't be considered as serious contenders, just because we passed the first test with flying colours doesn't mean the team can take its foot off the gas.

I'm sure we'll start as favourites with our home form and respective results yesterday, and I doubt Forest will look forward to coming here, but any kind of a win would be a great result next Saturday rather than an expectation.

Good post.

These next 2 months are crucial.

I really hope the players don't share this attitude - certainly don't think Pearson will let them.

However, as for some of the fans...

I'm saying 1-7 Forest. Fatty Reid with a curling free kick on 3 minutes then an onslaught the like of which we've never seen before at the KP.

Cox & Mackie hat tricks. GTF with a scrappy late consolation for us.

Our season then collapses, we don't win another game between now & May.

Some reverse psychology. Just incase Billy is reading & decides to post this thread up in the dressing room.

If not I'd give GTF a run out, looked hungry yesterday
