Guest ttfn Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 The title of this thread is very Watford, we'll end up looking like mugs with anything other than a convincing victory. Forest are a solid side who've had plenty of money spent on them over the summer, not to mention the fact their manager knows what he's doing at this level. These two months will sort out whether we can or can't be considered as serious contenders, just because we passed the first test with flying colours doesn't mean the team can take its foot off the gas. I'm sure we'll start as favourites with our home form and respective results yesterday, and I doubt Forest will look forward to coming here, but any kind of a win would be a great result next Saturday rather than an expectation. Pretty sure we'd been on a similar mega-run at home before last season's Forest game, which we (scandalously) drew.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We really dont need to think about any outsde influences. That defeat to us last season hurt them badly so they will want revenge. Plus 'King Billy' is fvcking up left, right and centre and needs a result. I really dont want to lose this game but a draw would not be the end of the world.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 if we play like we did yday we will win, if we dont can see it being a draw
Webbo Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Why do people tempt fate like this? This place will be full of forest fans next week if we don't win now.
Renart Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 If not I'd give GTF a run out, looked hungry yesterday
davieG Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 if we play like we did yday we will win, if we dont can see it being a draw If forest have their shooting boots on unlike Watford then they could easily get a goal or two based on how our defence was penetrated yesterday.
Simmo86 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 If forest have their shooting boots on unlike Watford then they could easily get a goal or two based on how our defence was penetrated yesterday. Countered by the fact I'm not sure that Forest can knock it about like Watford did in spells yesterday.
Aus Fox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Remember our last 2 games this season before international breaks. Also we don't know if Vardy is for and with Wood unavailable, Schluup possibly at left back and GTF as good as he looked I think 15/20 minutes at the end is as good as we are going to get out of him at the minute.
davieG Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Countered by the fact I'm not sure that Forest can knock it about like Watford did in spells yesterday. Neither am I as I've not seen them play but then I guess neither have many others on here but then our defence, despite some exellent individual performances has not looked entirely goal tight this season
RizLCFC Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Agree with most on this thread in that we have to take it one game at a time, everyone knows how difficult the Championship is and you can't ever be 100% confident of winning any game. On our day we can beat any side in this league, let's hope it's our day on Saturday but I think it'll be a draw, 1-1.
jonthefox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Ah fook em 5-0 .Nugent and Vardy both with hattricks
davieG Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Can we delete this thread? I'm sure it'll already be linked on a forest forum entitled 'arrogant bin dippers'
Lionator Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Very silly thread. Although Forest have struggled in the past 2/3 games, they despatched a very good Brighton side recently. They have some exceptional midfielders although that's also where our strength lies. It appears up front is where their problems lie. Still, I wouldn't write off any team in the Championship.
LeicesterAreGoingUp Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 If forest have their shooting boots on unlike Watford then they could easily get a goal or two based on how our defence was penetrated yesterday. true, but do forest have the same quality of players who opened our defence up like Watford. And has Greg Halford even ever owned a pair of 'shooting boots'?
KFS Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 This is a tough one, either side will edge this tight affair.
Guest shearfox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 I can't believe a moron has posted this. Good job our players and manager arent as arrogant. It wouldn't suprise me at all if they win. It's the nature of football. Sorry had a few after watching the game yesterday, usually I'm not so arrogant but god we were good and yes that doesn't mean we will beat forest...
MPH Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We are going to put those trees back into the forest of wildness... Didn't the Watford fans teach you anything? Their pride and arrogance in saying we didn't stand a chance feels great now... EDIT: read your above comment! That pesky alcohol has a lot to answer for!

It's the nature of football. Although i`m sure it has been meant tongue in cheek, i agree, i would rather not tempt fate. Still a long time to go this season, so lets take one game at a time. Nothing wrong with enjoying the way things are going at the moment, but lets not get all cocky and arrogant, we should be better than that.
Guest shearfox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Somebody please delete this! I'm in agreement
Happy Fox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We will beat those Forest bastards whether we thrash them 5-0 or beat them 2-1 we will win come on City!
