sdb Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 They've lost 2 on the bounce, we've just had a great win. It's a potentially dangerous combination for us.
Out Foxed Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 They've lost 2 on the bounce, we've just had a great win. definite loss then
cuddly ken Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 They've lost 2 on the bounce, we've just had a great win. It's a potentially dangerous combination for us. I wouldn't bet against a Billy Davies side, good manager and more tactically adept than our manager. Lets not get carried away, we could of lost by 3 or 4 had Watford taken their chances, that's how close it is in this league. You don't get promoted in Nov, look what happened last season when our management were clueless to stem the bad run we had. If we do go up we need to bring in a better manager or we will be the next Crystal Palace.
foxfanazer Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Egg on face thread if I've ever seen one! Hope not!

Now you are being silly, would have lost by 3 or 4 if they took their chances? well if we took all our chances and they took all theirs we would have won 9-4... It was a great performance and we well deserved the win
Hugo Sanchez Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 We're gonna look pretty stupid now, if we don't win.

SMX11 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Having a Forest supporting brother I can assure you that BD is coming in for some stick in regards to his tactics. The league table suggests otherwise as well. Claiming that Forest have no chance next week is foolish but we are playing quite well at the minute so I can understand why someone would make those claims.

If we'd have taken all our chances etc. because that never actually happens. The facts are we scored 3 and Watford scored 0, no if, no buts, no maybes. Now it could well be that Forest ride their luck on Saturday, score from their only chance and we miss a host of chances and end up losing 1 - 0. It will be a tough game against Forest, but we are playing well enough at present not to fear any side in this league.
Guest Bilo Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Cuddly Ken is a WUM who posts ridiculously negative stuff to get a reaction. Ignore.
Yojoe36 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 I will be posting in this thread after our 2-0 defeat.

Bettsj2 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 They may well have a good midfield but according to Forest fans i've spoken too, they dont use them as they play hoof quite a bit. If they do that, with Was, Wes and Moore, we'll handle that quite well.

The best thing to do is lubricate the pan with a good vegetable or olive oil. Butter is dangerous as it can burn quite easily if your not attentive throughout. Although for pan frying a sirloin, butter is definitely the way to go. You can create the most magnificent jus from the juices and a little added water. In addition some creamy potato mash with a little stilton really rounds off the meal.
Kitchandro Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Bit of a stupid thread tbh, not the first person to be carried away since yesterday though. Having said that if we play as well as we have been we should beat these. Only a win will do and if the players go into the game like they did against Watford I expect us to win.

Hello Billy, disappointing result yesterday, but if you'd taken your chances v Blackpool you could've won by 8 or 9.
Corky Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 This will be a very tough match, they won't want to go 12 points behind us. I reckon they'd be happy with a point. Can't see it being a classic.
Sharpe's Fox Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Barnsley were a much worse side than Forest are and they scored a shitty goal and got a 'chance', leaving us all sweating. Don't be so rash to wipe teams off before they arrive.
Number 6 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 Agree with the first part, but why is it a "big if" that we win? We're at home and in good form whilst Forest have lost their way a bit. All suggests a home win right? Welcome to the Championship.
City84 Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 It all in my head to saying if it right chant :-/ Cut the forest down cut the forest down We'll bring the foxes out of the forest The foxes will beat the forest! Something like that :-/

midland_red Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 absolutely right - it has to be one game at a time, respect even for the trees and no over-confidence... The title of this thread is very Watford, we'll end up looking like mugs with anything other than a convincing victory. Forest are a solid side who've had plenty of money spent on them over the summer, not to mention the fact their manager knows what he's doing at this level. These two months will sort out whether we can or can't be considered as serious contenders, just because we passed the first test with flying colours doesn't mean the team can take its foot off the gas. I'm sure we'll start as favourites with our home form and respective results yesterday, and I doubt Forest will look forward to coming here, but any kind of a win would be a great result next Saturday rather than an expectation.
Craig Posted 3 November 2013 Posted 3 November 2013 All these cup finals we keep having. Just like the old days.
