MikeyT Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Schmeichel, Moore, Morgan, Wasilewski, Konchesky, Hammond, Drinkwater, King, Nugent, Vardy, Dyer 433. Subs: Logan, Miquel, Bakayogo, James, Schlupp, GTF, Wood
lgfualol Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I would rather Wood start but oh well. Hopefully Nugent is awake today, he should be fired up to get some goals.
Kitchandro Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 I would rather Wood start but oh well. Hopefully Nugent is awake today, he should be fired up to get some goals. Aye Aye. I'd rather see James in instead of Hammond as well.
Happy Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Expected team would prefer Schlupp at lb but apart from that good team
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Aye Aye. I'd rather see James in instead of Hammond as well. What is wrong with James? Easily our best midfielder towards the arse end of last season. That's not a bad side though to be fair.
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 What is wrong with James? Easily our best midfielder towards the arse end of last season. That's not a bad side though to be fair. Nothing is wrong with him, he has just lost his place to Drinkwater who has been playing excellently so far and there is no reason to drop him atm.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Negative line up, looks like NP wants a draw.
Fox92 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Negative line up, looks like NP wants a draw. Not sure because we have three attackers in Dyer, Vardy and Nugent but I'd take a draw personally. Will be a tough game.
Guest Col city fan Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Nothing is wrong with him, he has just lost his place to Drinkwater who has been playing excellently so far and there is no reason to drop him atm. In relation to Hammond being in the side..
Libertine Dream Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Negative line up, looks like NP wants a draw. That's hardly negative, there's pace to burn in the forward line with King and Drinky more than capable of getting up to support. Three in midfield helps control the game and with Hammond just sitting, attacking players can go forward with more confidence. Just because players will drop back to create a five when we haven't got the ball, doesn't make it negative
WhenYourSmilingLCFC Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Decent. Hammond infront of the back four. No disrespect to James but Hammond wins plenty of tackles, not afraid to get stuck in. Plenty of pace up top
danielevison Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Anyone got any links for the game today?
eye666 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Negative line up, looks like NP wants a draw. Disagree. Sort of game we need a bit of steel in the middle - Hammond will provide that.
Unabomber Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 In relation to Hammond being in the side.. They are different players, Hammond has much more experience and will sit just in front of the back four, allowing King and Drinkwater to play whereas James would be like for like for Drinkwater.
Fox92 Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Anyone got any links for the game today? Keep checking the streaming thread, you might eventually find a decent stream.
cjslcfc Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Would like to see James play as he looked a top player at the end of last season. However, I can understand why Hammond is there and hopefully it allows us not to lose the midfield away from home! Like the look of the line up and hopefully the boys will have learnt from the mistakes of last season. Come on!
MikeyT Posted 23 November 2013 Author Posted 23 November 2013 Anyone got any links for the game today? Only links I've seen anywhere for games in our league are for Forest v Burnley. Nothing for us.
Guest ttfn Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Hammond, Drinkwater and King is such a negative midfield. Even more negative than the 3 we were playing earlier in the season. Still, without Knockaert and with Marshall sold its difficult to know what else Nige could have done.
AnotherShitSeason Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 Can someone give me a link to BBC RL please? http://bit.ly/18YU38r
Ashley Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 http://bit.ly/18YU38r Cheers for you're input mate Rugby was on earlier
Sharpe's Fox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 We were pretty limited with what side we could play with De Laet, Knockaert and Wood out. I know Wood could have played but you can't say he would be playing at his best.
kingfox Posted 23 November 2013 Posted 23 November 2013 As Jay Emmanuel-Thomas doesn't play for these anymore, we will smash them 5-0.
