Guest shearfox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 Player of the season, wow how he has turned things around...
Kitchandro Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 It's his balls. They've got better. And hairier.
ousefox Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 People forget how good he was at the start of last season too. Hopefully he maintains this for the whole season this time around.
Spiritwalker Posted 10 January 2014 Posted 10 January 2014 If you think back to 11 months ago most would have been happy not to see DD, Dyer or Vardy in the starting 11, now they are probably 3 of the first names on team sheet.
KIRBYFOX93 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Absolutely class player, he has so much potential for such a young player. Like wise with james
Bryn Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 One of Liam Moore, Danny Drinkwater and Matty James will get an England cap. Discuss.
Spiritwalker Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 One of Liam Moore, Danny Drinkwater and Matty James will get an England cap. Discuss. Agree. Probably Moore.
Guest shearfox Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 It might sound crazy, but i think drinky is better than Cleverley...
MrSpaM Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 It might sound crazy, but i think drinky is better than Cleverley... I think Drinkwaters a better all round player tbh Cleverly was probably more of a goal threat though I reckon
dmayne7 Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Agree. Probably Moore. Agree. Personally think Moore could get a LOT of caps. Wouldn't even be surprised to see him lead out England. Still a long way off though but there are so many potential international players in our team. Then again, we're are Leicester so they'll be playing non-league in a few years
FoxTrott Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 He's the kind of player you don't really notice that much if you're not looking out for him... ... I looked out for him today, the guy is absolutely amazing at retaining position - playing simple passes that move us forward without risking giving the ball away. He appears so aware of all the players around him. Just an incredibly intelligent footballer.*IF* we are promoted and he is on the big stage week in week out, playing how he is playing at the moment... I for sure think he will be England material. And we might even struggle to keep him (admittedly, getting ahead of myself a little here).
foxfanazer Posted 11 January 2014 Posted 11 January 2014 Exactly what Fox Trott said! Me and one of my mates were discuss him after the Burnkey game and he was saying he's so negative and doesn't do much. So I said to him last night, try to just watch Drinkwater for 10 mins and see what he aactually does, now agrees that he's a class above. One of the players I'd be confident to start in the prem if we go up
