Father Ted Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Herve Pepe Ngoma has looked a class above anybody else on the pitch, still 0-0, nearly 90 minutes

Father Ted Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 He looks class On tonight's showing, he wouldn't look out of place in too many lower end Championship defences. Can't believe he's not in our development squad, he's 18 now. He looks very good with the ball at his feet, wins so much in the air, particularly from set pieces, leads from the back, wins tackles, defends the front post from crosses as well as anybody I've seen at this age... may sound like I'm hyping him up but I am seriously impressed we have a diamond like him.
Aus Fox Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Noticed we have a Moore on the bench, any relation to Liam?
Father Ted Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 United 1-0 up in ET with a lucky deflected goal
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Blooming heck keep going lads. Must be giving a good accout of themselvex
Father Ted Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 FT 1-0. Held their own well enough at the back and one deflected goal in it. Unfortunately, never looked much of a threat going forward apart from when Fox or Rowe showed rare glimpses of magic. Midfield very poor going forward and Stankevicius barely had a sniff, service was very poor. Dour game to watch but it was evident that our game plan was to get men behind the ball and frustrate United which worked for most of the match. Once they went 1 ahead, we never looked like scoring, a shame really.
ramadaone Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Been pretty impressed so far with Brandon Fox, Stankevicius and Ngoma. All seem like they could make the step up perhaps in the future. The left back Chilwell is a liability! Flying into tackles, awful passing.. not too bad defensively though. I really do despair at times and wonder what some of you clowns are looking at Let's see how the above statement about various players pans out in the long run
Lionator Posted 16 January 2014 Posted 16 January 2014 Thought Man Utd were really poor, I'd be worried if I was a fan about up and coming talent.
Cincinnati Fox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Noticed we have a Moore on the bench, any relation to Liam?Yes it's his younger brother and he his twice as good as liam at his current ageFulham buy him :-)

United were dross.
Father Ted Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 I really do despair at times and wonder what some of you clowns are looking at Let's see how the above statement about various players pans out in the long run I wrote that about half hour into the game. Fox started very brightly I thought and seems a capable winger - I've heard he's only 16 too so plenty of time to develop, granted he did drift out of the game as it went on though. Stankevicius did very little after that, had some good flicks and hold up play but received very little service. Herve Pepe was comfortably the best player on the pitch. On the other hand, my opinion of Chilwell changed, like I said above, he flew recklessly into a couple of early tackles and twice after winning possession played poor balls across to the right centre back which almost put us in trouble. By the end he really impressed me, very energetic, good pressuring, solid defensively, good getting forward. Think he could do well. What are your thoughts anyway? Obviously you're in a better position to say as you've seen them play a lot more than me.
