LMlcfc Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 if that was aimed at me I'll show you my points if you show me yours.......... how would I know about palace if I dont go away. Were you born when I started going away? 1989 for your info. ffs I have no problem with it other than the goon who set one off in the FAMILY stand. If that had injured a small kid you'd be looking at a long time avoiding passing the soap. not you pal, the ones who are totally against them being used safety at away games and moan all day long
Bayfox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 agreed so when have you seen someone get burnt or die? They are that hot that stewards pick them up and walk off with them hey you really are making yourself look about 12. just because it doesn't happen everytime doesn't mean it can't and won't cars aren't built to kill but they can. Normally in the hands of immature young adults. Grow up just a little.
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 so when have you seen someone get burnt or die? They are that hot that stewards pick them up and walk off with them hey Could you imagine the punishment you'd get if it did though. You would get a nationwide lifetime banning order, just for the sake of 30 seconds of smoke. If you were at Sheff Wed at home last season you'd have seen what happened when it got lobbed between fans. Could have quite easily blinded someone.
RowlattsFox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Smoke bombs are one thing I just don't get, don't see what the fuss is about. Agreed on certain videos they can look spectacular but generally they are just pointless.
NathanBlueFox Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 that 12 year old saying how they do not hurt anyone, well actually someone i speak to a lot on twitter went to a game in Sweden where one was set off, caused lung damage to a little kid and severe face burns to a bloke. Nothing in England.

Actually I do now you come to mention it. Point proved. Idiots and hot objects don't mix.
Ian W LCFC Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 I think they look class IF they are blue, and done away.
Walker Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Could you imagine the punishment you'd get if it did though. If you were at Sheff Wed at home last season you'd have seen what happened when it got lobbed between fans. Could have quite easily blinded someone. So could a coin, so could a bottle of water, so could a burnt pie. The fact the object was a flare/smoke bomb or whatever wasn't really the issue against Sheff Weds, it was those throwing something potentially harmful which was the issue. Used in the right environment with like-minded people, pyro can be quite fun. Discussing on twitter which games you're taking them to is stupid, mind.
LMlcfc Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Actually I do now you come to mention it. Point proved. Idiots and hot objects don't mix. people smoking in public is no different to smoke at away games big deal is made for no reason
Bluetintedspecs Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Everyone loves pyrotechnics at away games, the twitter discussion is nothing to do with home games, safety used away is good. I doubt you even go away games you wining tart Aaaaaaaaaaaaarrhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh got some pretties have you? Sparklers to go with it too? Grow up!
The Year Of The Fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Jesus don't we have some wingey arses on here, I'm sure if you asked everyone they'd agree pyres away is wicked, what the feck is your problem I'd say it's more about fans looking after fellow fans. People have had prison sentences for being caught in possession of them-not actually using them. Also the idiots yesterday have now probably put the final nail in the coffin for innocent standers in N block.
Guest Bilo Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Anybody who throws pyro at a game is a festering cuntbubble though. My liberalism has its limits.
Larry_LCFC Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 people smoking in public is no different to smoke at away games big deal is made for no reason How is a cigarette and a what is basically a handheld firework remotely similar?
StanSP Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 people smoking in public is no different to smoke at away games big deal is made for no reason I hate both. Your point?
Corky Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 people smoking in public is no different to smoke at away games big deal is made for no reason Of course, it's so easy to move away from smoke in a football stadium compared to a group of smokers in the wide world isn't it?
RowlattsFox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 What's it matter if it's at home or away? Either they look good or they don't.
LCFC FOX Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 The family stand is having a party, bring your pyros and your smarties
LMlcfc Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 30 seconds of smoke, lit then put on then floor, everyone loves , gets the fans mood going, smoke blows away. And the singing continues. Where's the hazard in that besides if this if that.... Which has never actually happened in English football.
LMlcfc Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Of course, it's so easy to move away from smoke in a football stadium compared to a group of smokers in the wide world isn't it? same effect on the lungs IF breathed in, right?
Bayfox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 The family stand is having a party, bring your pyros and your smarties now this did make me chuckle a bit.
tylesta Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 when i take my son. any smoke bombs come near me and him, they will be getting one shoved where the sun don't shine

And no, everyone does not love it. Grow up.
