"Dear Nigel"

I read that post as a rap like Eminems "Stan" just need some lyrics by Ken and a beat by Moose and we will be well on our way to a big big hit.

My name is...

I like the fact that Col's still managed to work the 'I've been saying this for ages' in there lol

lol:chant:lol:chant:lol:chant: Well that's my happy clapping out of the way bud, fair play to ya mate  Now just admit that the draw for QPR v Burnley and our subsequent victory was the best possible outcome today and we've made real progress :P

In pre season I will admit that I didn't think we would do this well I thought we would be lucky to get back into the play offs again.

I'm glad I was proved wrong

Never wanted NP out, i'm proud to say. Nevertheless, I can't believe what we're seeing this season.

The guy is just magnificent.

(Cue 18 game losing streak)

We're losing the first game of next  season? Great!

Dear Nigel,

I am writing to apologise for doubting you.

Having been over the moon at you becoming our manager once more, I did say that if we were to get it all together, it would be THIS season and not last. Then we had the terrible run and I must admit, I got worried. I called for a change.

I was wrong. You have turned around Sven's disjointed squad, have rectified the mistakes of last season and have got that balance between youth and experience which is usually crucial for success.

Well done Pearson and your staff team. You have the squad playing with a steely determination AND some real quality.

Keep it going everyone. I salute you.

I post this not as a turnaround on my part, but because I mean it.

Col,

You're just a teenager so don't worry about it. You're bound to get some things wrong. By the time you are in your forties you'll be much more balanced.

;)

Several years between the two ;)

I learnt not to go there.

Ha ha, he will retort though and I like the passion in Cols posts, don't always agree with him but I think he's a fair bloke who makes some very good posts and I'd like to have a good old footy chat over a pint with him. He was wrong about the QPR v Burnley thing though

He hasn't yet! Must be wise beyond his years!!! :P

Was totally p ed off with way it panned out last season with the after January dip,the Forest high then the Watford despair.

I always thought things would take time and said to friends of mine that maybe we were not quite ready and it might have been a blessing.

This season has been superb and, as Colin has said, the management team deserves great credit.

Still, towards the end of the Boro win, the crowd tried to get the 'one Nigel Pearson ' song going and no one joined in.

Why have the fans STILL not taken to NP when they continuously go on about MON? ( although loved what he did)

We are going up and when we do I hope the board and fans don't get on his back if we get off to a bad start - but I think the fans will

Bless ya buddy! You also make some good posts. Not as many as me, granted, but not bad nonetheless.

You're talking out your arse about QPR/Burnley though.

:P

From Col, the spotty teenager...
