I'm Priority One, I always get my tickets on the first day of sales and I've lost count on the number of times I've had terrible seats this Season and last Season. I purchased my Forest ones yesterday only too find I'm stuck bang in the corner! I do plan to change these though. Anyone else had anything similar being P1/P2?

They have to sell it from a certain side first which is why you are where you are. Imagine I'll be somewhere similar.

Do they? I swear I've seen people on post blocks, rows etc on the first day which have been blocks apart. I'm W1 for Forest.

LeicesterLass, any chance of you raising this at the next Fans meeting please?

What can she do?

"There's this lad on Foxestalk who always gets the crap seat. Can we put him on a special register so he gets the good ones"

The corner view isn't even that bad. I've sat in the corner many times and its never been a problem.

I was raising the question in general for responses from P1/P2 that feel they have been given poor seats on the first and second day of sales. Personally think the club should look after high priority members a bit more(hence the elitist bit at the top).

I personally don't think that's fair on others?

I don't think I've ever been in my actual allocated space and it hasn't caused any problems.

I was in that corner for the cup game when we took 6,500(?) it's not as bad as you think!

Yep. You've got to also bear in mind that 1000+ would've gone yesterday. Some people won't even get a ticket as well so think about that for a minute too.

If it's that much of an issue for you, get in touch with Jim mate?

Yes! Had exactly the same thing quite a few times this season including Stoke away where we were right on the edge of the stand next to the tunnel.

The club always say they have to sell them as they are instructed etc. but then online sales are often several blocks away.

It really annoys me that I also continually ask for tickets near the back as I like to stand yet am often given F,G,D etc. Any other event you can choose where you sit as a paying customer yet for football it's different despite often paying more for the event.

Better than no view at all like most will get.

Thanks Rob, think I may contact the club. Sorry if I have come across elitist in this thread it wasn't meant to be that way. I was just asking in general if people haven't been happy with request from our club such as asking for High numbered seats and being located further down etc.

No problem. Me and Leicester Lass ask for our tickets at the back and generally they are at the back or as far back as possible. So I don't really have any complaints with them on that front. Of rather be in a corner at the back than in the middle at the front.

They can't please everyone mind, some people are happy just to have a ticket, some people want the world and I would bet more than most make a request for certain seats etc.

Obviously those who are Priority 1 due deserve a bonus, as they have to pay for no end of away games. But when they're allowed to pick their own seat it may seem a bit unfair to te second priority. They'll start to think that they deserve more of a bonus. This is just more and more organisation and when they can't even organise their bloody allocation properly (Brum/Bournemouth) They'd crumble, Unlikely to happen methinks.

I watched burnley play forest 7-8 years ago(friends a burnley fan)and my seat was round about the same area as yours,

Where the 2 stands join in the corner make it near on impossible to watch the game as the away end stand sits behind the cloughy stand(hope it makes sence),

So just be cautious with your view

It's also largely a matter of opinion as to whether certain seats are good or not. I personally like the corners, always sit in SK1 or 4 when I go up.

It's been raised before, and the club have their hands tied over this one I'm afraid, just like we dictate to away teams how to sell tickets at the KP.

How do they know how many away games you've been to from the previous season in deciding priority? Is it stubs or is it done electronically?

Depends how tickets are brought.

Best thing to do is to save stubs. Lads behind me missed about 3 aways season before last, but because most of their tickets were brought as walk ups, the club had no recollection of them buying them and they'd chucked their stubs so couldn't prove they'd been either!

If purchased at the ticket office it should all be stored on your purchase history.

Chelsea away, lower shed, back row. If that's what we get to offered assuming we go up next season I shan't go

I was on that row in 2011/12 for the cup game. Gave up watching the match and just busied myself drumming on the roof. Didn't have a clue who scored for us until I chatted about it with a bloke on the tube, diabolical to sell tickets like that without describing them as restricted view

Always seems hit and miss, sometimes at the fanstore when I used to buy in person sometimes I've been given a flat "no" answer to go on a higher row, other times the person has sorted me out with decent tickets, similar when buying on the phone. There was one lad in particular who would always say no and one other lad who would always disappear out the back and come back with the tickets I wanted.

Buying online these days and as a P1 most aways I'm very low down, Birmingham and Bournemouth I've been right at the front, Leeds, and others I've been in the middle

Happy enough to have a ticket and be there but if we could choose our seats would be loads better. Used to love squeezing in at the back but my lad's a bit young to enjoy that, he's getting there though!
