ollielcfc Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Like i said in another post Yeovil are available on the 15th Feb so we could have moved the midweek fixture with them to the 15th Feb. Not sure how likely this is, although it would be quite a good idea

Corky Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Like i said in another post Yeovil are available on the 15th Feb so we could have moved the midweek fixture with them to the 15th Feb. It must be far too late to move a game forward six weeks?
HEGGSY Posted 6 February 2014 Author Posted 6 February 2014 It must be far too late to move a game forward six weeks?I'd have thought so
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I never dreamt before this season I would say it but I am glad we were knocked out of the FA cup just on comparing our schedule to Forests. Like wise, love a good cup run but and it's a big but it looks like a thing atm
Leicesterpool Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 It must be far too late to move a game forward six weeks? It's done alot in non league in short notice, if both parties agree then i don't see a problem to be honest Yeovil i think would snap are hand of for this, save there supporters having to make this trip down midweek.

They won't move it this far forward, by the time we'd posted the tickets down to Yeovil they wouldn't even have a week to sell them.
Corky Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 They won't move it this far forward, by the time we'd posted the tickets down to Yeovil they wouldn't even have a week to sell them. You'd also have to get stewards, bar staff, car park attendants etc sure that they could make the game at such short notice when they'd have the 25th March pencilled in for all that. Never going to happen.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 They won't move it this far forward, by the time we'd posted the tickets down to Yeovil they wouldn't even have a week to sell them. Why not pay on the gate!? I think Yeovil's average away support is around 500ish? Also if you think if it aswell both Sheffield United and Forest have had to make quick changes in short notice! So it can be done?
Bluetintedspecs Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Have the club negotiated extra tickets for our fans as we've played ball by putting fixture back 24hours? I say this as I believe Mr & Mrs Bert said that it had to be agreed by both parties to move.Surely our powers that be have used the leverage?
Happy Fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Still no official confirmation FFS I need to know asap if it is on the Wednesday.
GingerrrFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Still no official confirmation FFS I need to know asap if it is on the Wednesday. It's 90% likely that the game will be on the Wednesday. Forest will have kicked up a stink about playing Sunday and Tuesday.
Simi Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Like i said in another post Yeovil are available on the 15th Feb so we could have moved the midweek fixture with them to the 15th Feb. Ridiculous. Think how much it pisses people off when a game on Sky gets moved by a day. Now you want to move a game six weeks forward?!
Soar Fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Thought people were saying on here yesterday that it will be definitely on the Tuesday.
Leicesterpool Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Thought people were saying on here yesterday that it will be definitely on the Tuesday. Nobody knows at the moment, Leicester claim it been agreed if forest won there replay it would be played on 18th while Forest have said nothing. I seem to recall Stringer and Jason Bourne said some time ago that the fixture may not be played until April!? (I believe though they said that after our match against Middlesbrough)

sylofox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Why people are saying move Yeovil. I can never remember a game being brought fwd more than a couple of days for TV. The fixtures are set by the league end of you cant pick and choose who and when you play like that. The only way games get moved fwd is by a day for sky. And only get moved backwards for postponements or a day possible 2 days for sky.
Leicester Lass Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Still no official confirmation FFS I need to know asap if it is on the Wednesday. Jim at Fanzone has told me it's been moved to Wednesday. Would be nice to have some official confirmation though!
sylofox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Jim at Fanzone has told me it's been moved to Wednesday. Would be nice to have some official confirmation though! There is on the club site.
Soar Fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Jim at Fanzone has told me it's been moved to Wednesday. Would be nice to have some official confirmation though! You were adamant last night that it was going to be played on the Tuesday. The date had been agreed who's the date been changed by?
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 It's annoying for people who work, utter shambles
Leicester Lass Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 You were adamant last night that it was going to be played on the Tuesday. The date had been agreed who's the date been changed by? I wasn't adamant it was going to be Tuesday, what I said was that we had agreed with them already that it would be the Tuesday and therefore we were under no obligation to accept a change in date should they ask for one.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Uttter bs. Lucky I can still go but had to swap shifts about farce
