nativefox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Pearson and Nugent up for the gongs http://www.leicester.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=348582&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter http://www.leicester.vitalfootball.co.uk/article.asp?a=348576&utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter
Leicester Lass Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Will be surprised if it's not Pearson & Le Fondre who win.
Sampson Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Four goals and four assists in one month should beat a couple of hat-tricks and a few sub appearances imo.
One Legged Beaver Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Pearson is a given, wasn't much point even having 3 other nominations. Nugent could be in with a shout; four goals, four assists and performed to a high standard in pretty much all our games in January and the performance against Derby was just sensational. It would probably be hard to pip Le Fondre to the award however due to his two hattricks although I'm not sure he's done much in the other few games?
LCCFox96 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Pearson for the unbeaten record and Le Fondre has made reading a goal scoring side this month. That's got to be worth a player of the month award.
ScouseFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Redknapp won all his league games in January too. And Sky looooove him.
foxfanazer Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Redknapp won all his league games in January too. And Sky looooove him.Did he?Edit: Just realised Burnley game was Feb
ThurnbyLodgeFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Did he? He can have it makes no difference to us if Pearson wins it or not
allotment-fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Can't see See Pearson being to bothered about it to be honest, but recon it's his this time round
foxfanazer Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Well if he doesn't win it this month then he never will. Simple as that
Captain... Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Redknapp won all his league games in January too. And Sky looooove him. Would love it to go to Redknapp, it would just fire us up even more, knowing that we are unfashionable and unliked, but top of the fvcking league by a long way.
Captain... Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Actually NP has to win it, 5 out of 5 is better than QPR 4 out of 4, their toughest game was Ipswich, whereas we thrashed Derby 4-1 Nailed on really. Congrats Nige you deserve it, just like you did last January...
ollielcfc Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Has to be Nigel's, surely? Then again, we're not very popular are we? We don't give fvck, we don't give a fvck, nobody likes us, we don't give a fvck!
sylofox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Redknapp won all his league games in January too. And Sky looooove him. we picked up 15pts to his 12pts
Beliall Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Has to be pearson this month. But i wouldnt be surprised if its 'arry. kirkland for an outside shot a player of the month. Hard to overlook 2 hat tricks though.
ollielcfc Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 It's always going to go to Le Fondre, think Redknapp will get manager of the month because the media seem to love QPR.
Captain... Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Has Nugent even been our best player in Jan? 4 goals and 4 assists suggest he has been our most influential, having a direct hand in 8 of our goals, but he did miss a penalty. Knockaert and Dyer have both blown hot and cold (1 goal each), Kasper has hardly been tested in some games, but he was outstanding against Leeds, Konch has been poor, RDL could be a contender, 2 goals, some good perfomances, Moore and Morgan have been very solid. James and DD have both been excellent, but not troubled the goals, Vardy bagged 3 goals and a couple of assists in Jan and has also been excellent. I think you could argue a good case for everyone, except Konch (sorry Paul), but Nugent got the goal at Leeds that kept this run going, as well as scoring/creating 7 more. Even if he wasn't our best player, he made the biggest contribution.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 I'm sensing some paranoia on here NP will obviously win it
ScouseFox Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 we picked up 15pts to his 12pts Yeah. We kinda had an advantage by playing an extra game, though. Regardless of results and form Pearson should get it for signing Kevin Phillips.

Loggy88 Posted 6 February 2014 Posted 6 February 2014 Hope in a way Nigel doesn't win it, it's the curse of all curses that award!
