Guest Bilo Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 So far, our five defeats have come at the hands of Doncaster, Charlton, Sheffield Wednesday, Brighton and Forest. You'd have to say that having been the only side to win at our place of that lot, Forest had the best opportunity to make it a league double over us. If none of the remaining teams beat us at home, we'll have gone a whole season without anybody doing the double over us for the first time since the League One season. Tough to beat.
Hirsty The Blue 94 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Great minds think alike. I was about to post this exact thread. In answer to your question I think Doncaster will do the double over us, although it will be irrelevant as the league will already be wrapped up.
maynefox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 All of them (except Forest) were at their grounds. We should be beating them all at home, but you never know! (in a non-complacent tone)
LCCFox96 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 We usually slip up to teams like Wednesday and Charlton at home. Didn't we lose both last year? The Wednesday game was a particularly drab affair if I remember correctly. I fancy us to beat Charlton, likewise Doncaster. But knowing our luck Chris Powell will be sacked the game before and the caretaker manager will come in and they'll play the game of the season. I could see Wednesday and Brighton snatching draws at our place particularly if we have off days but agree forest had the best chance and they blew it last night. Thank you god.
suffolk fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Got to play our bogey team Charlton at home yet. Let's hope we can lay that ghost to rest.
ealingfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 IF we are already Champions or promoted by then, I can see Doncaster doing it if they need points to stay up.
Fox92 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Well from those sides the obvious choice is Brighton. That said, we're good enough to be anybody.
cc_star Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Wouldn't be surprised to see someone like Wednesday or Charlton beat us. Brighton are a good side too who are more than capable. But we're capable of beating everyone from scrappers Millwall to the likes of Wigan & QPR full of Premiership players etc
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Well we've beaten most of our bogie teams this season
Guest Bilo Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 IF we are already Champions or promoted by then, I can see Doncaster doing it if they need points to stay up. I'm not sure. If we can go a whole season without anybody doing the double over us, I can't see Pearson allowing a side of us to go out and get beaten. Don't forget that it could be the presentation of the Championship trophy in front of a full house.
theessexfox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Charlton have won the last three over us, at least.
Finnaldo Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Doncaster will be a 2-2 draw. We're already champions. Dickov keeps them up. Hollowhead and the Millwanks go down. We all have a party on the pitch.

Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 We will thump charlton at home this this time and Doncaster
lancyclaret Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 You have every chance of going a whole season with no-one taking 6 points off you - nearly as good a chance as Burnley:) Only Middlesbrough, who we still have to play at home, can do the "double" over us. At the moment, only Brighton have taken 4 points off us.

Guest kristianity77 Posted 20 February 2014 Posted 20 February 2014 Charlton wont do it. That run of defeats against them was purely Kermits doing I reckon. Now hes gone we will put them to bed no problem.
