BigWesMorgan Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 When we inevitably mathematically secure promotion/champions. Which of the current U21's squad would you give a run-out to next to a more senior player? Michael Cain with Drinky or James - On fire in every U21's game. Seems to get an assist or a goal every week George Taft - In need to a left back in the future so why not Jacob Blyth with Nuge or Vardy - Like Cain, Seems to be involved in every game, Would do him good for a start in the first team
Leicester Lass Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 George Taft - In need to a left back in the future so why not Because he's garbage.
Out Foxed Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Cain and that's it. another of Taft's mates, no doubt.
Walshy5 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 None of them probablly, as i can see the title race with burnley going right to the wire.
Narborough_fox Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Cain, and maybe Sesay and Elder, but that's it.
Ric Flair Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Cain needs a chance at Mansfield before we'll risk him. This young left back Chilwell is already ahead of Taft from what I gather.
Buzzell Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 I'd rather us go out in style and try to reach the 100 points barrier.
Hungry Hungry Fox Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 We've got some talented young players would be nice to see a few of them get a chance
LutterworthLCFC Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Didn't Taft give away a penalty in tonight's u21s game?
LCFC FOX Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 Cain Panayitou Blyth Sesay There the only ones I have seen play and impressed me
LCCFox96 Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 McCourt is worth a look into I think. He's certainly got something. Cain Panayitou Blyth Sesay Agree with these.
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 It would definately be good to see a few more local and or home grown players come through
sylofox Posted 10 March 2014 Posted 10 March 2014 None till we have the league. But then only if first teamers are not fit. Why should the lads that have got us up miss out on party games if we have any games to spare.
Dan Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Anyone with a half decent name. Pepe Ngoma and Panayiotou IN. Morgan and Vardy OUT.
Churchill Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 Taft spends more time being a model than playing football.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 11 March 2014 Posted 11 March 2014 The thing about Pearson is when it comes to youth players he takes his coaches advise on board and gives them a chance. Moore Schlupp Are the most obvious. Gradel was given a chance but was not up to the style Pearson wanted. Hopper if he hadn't got injured would've been more involved I would suspect. Remember king was still a relative young player when Pearson came in and made him a starter. The fact is based on Pearsons manner of working if these players were good enough they would've been in. It seems, As far as he is aware from feed back etc they are not. It doesn't mean they won't be, just not ready yet. With Pearson we have an entire football manager. He manages the club from top to bottom and delegates various roles to others. We are very lucky to have someone with the ability to the job he's best at and the knowledge to bring In the right men to do the jobs he doesn't.

Wasn't a first team regular till Pearson turned up.
