In your opinion who is it?

For me, it was Watford and Yeovil at home.

Both had a game plan to press us once we entered their half and break quick, and for both it worked, obviously better for watford given the extra quality they have.

Not really impressed with derby at ours or theirs, same with forest, qpr and burnley.

To be honest I've not been impressed with any of the top six, apart from us of course. I've noticed most of the clubs that have caused us problems are the ones who are near the bottom, last night i was really impressed in how Yeovil were organised, you could tell they did there homework, our wingers just couldn't get into the game! every time they tried to put a cross or run into the box they were either closed down or blocked, and at the same time keeping both Nugent and Vardy out of the game.

Burnley, don't know how they didn't concede in those first 20 minutes.

Surprised how many votes Burnley have got, thought they were very poor against us and rode their luck big time with our poor finishing.

Best team for me is Brighton easily, they just took us apart like we were a bottom half side.

No chance lol

Why are the only side who've beaten us at home in the League and the only side we've played twice who we've failed to beat so far, so unimpressive?

they were shit in the game at our place, let's be honest.

and from all accounts on here were lucky not to be beaten by our 10 men at theirs.

the few times i've caught them this season (at our place is one) they have far from impressed me. they've been exactly what i expected them to be when davies was their manager and they played a striker up front and it was basically a competition to see which of their defenders or keeper could kick the ball the highest.

Luck. And I mean that.

They deserved to lose when they played us, a number of their fans said so (or at least admitted they didn't merit a 2-0 win). I've looked back at the highlights a few times and it's gut wrenching to know that we were two down after 45 minutes. Bit like the first half at QPR I mentioned but the other way round.

Different at the City Ground granted admittedly.

Most 'impressive' side - for me it's Yeovil. Was surprisingly impressed by them on tuesday, very underrated side and deserve more credit for their performances this year. They beat forest and got draws away at Bolton, us and wigan recently.

Easily Brighton. The other four games we've lost this season have been:

Charlton (A) - 2 set piece goals and a dreadful referee.

Doncaster (A) - Freak goal and dreadful tactics from us, chipping the ball politely onto their 6ft 7" centre back's head.

Forest (H) - The most one-sided 0-2 ever

Sheff Wed (A) - Played well against us to be fair but nowhere near Brighton's standard.

People saying Brighton "completely outplayed us" are off the mark as well though. There's no doubt that over the 90 minutes they deserved to win but they were clinging on until they got a ridiculous penalty 5 minutes from the end.

Brighton, Burnley and QPR would be three where a team has actually attempted to play football and matched or bettered us for decent portions of the game.

Shite like Watford, Forest and half a dozen others coming here to defend for 90 minutes and try to catch us on the break, does not make an impressive side in my eyes. In fact I'd find it down right weird if anyone walked away from any of those games saying the opposition was "impressive". If you want to talk about teams employing tactics to stop us playing, then we can bring them into the equation.

I think I agree with you, but would you not say that the level of tactical and defensive discipline shown by Watford (along with 2 very well taken goals) was in itself pretty "impressive"?

Of all the games I've been to this season I was most impressed with Blackburn last weekend. We didnt play that badly and they gave us a real game.

Yeovil gave everything on Tuesday - what Gary Johnson has done with his limited resources there is miraculous.

I wouldn't use the word impressive myself, I struggle to be impressed by things like that.

Astute would perhaps be the word I would choose for their play.

I literally cannot get my head around people actually saying teams like that are the most impressive we have faced... I mean Yeovil, ****ing Yeovil, we were absolute gash mostly through our own making, yet still could have won it by a couple of clear goals if we could even take half our good chances.

I didn't think Watford were anything special. I swear the just put 11 men behind the for more or less the whole of the second half?! Burnley looked like the best 'quality' side I'd say but obviously for Yeovil to just miss out on 3 points was very harsh.

Brighton played us off the park. Not sure how Stringer called that game, but for those of us at the Amex, it was clear we were outplayed.

I think the difference between Brighton and the other sides we have faced and dropped points to, is that Brighton were the only side that we technically couldn't compete with on the day. They passed exceptionally well all game and we simply could not get the ball.
