Wasyls Pec Deck Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Seriously, who is that mystery guy? The dwarf? He's literally everywhere I've been wondering this...
elangLCFC Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Thought only several players were getting extensions?
iamafox Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 This is good news for us. We don't want to let too many players go for nothing because psychologically, it could have a negative effect on the squad. Keep the players that have been instrumental for us and let go of the ones that are out of favour.
ROB-THE-BLUE Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 The midget is Knocky's cousin apparently... therefore a legend.
Stadt Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 It's the stupid over inflated contracts that these players have which they certainly don't justify with their performances that cause issues. Gallagher is on a premiership wage playing in league 1, St.Ledger is paid to get pissed up every week whilst injured and Danns is just well, err shit.
Tommy G Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I think the club might offer Nuge this kind of contract. £35,000 a week with a staying up bonus of 200k. If relegated this drops to 15,000 a week for the second year of his contract. Take it or leave it, he isn't going to walk away from playing in the prem surely? The club has a decent bargaining power aswell as player power
MC Prussian Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 Jeez, are we really stuck with Gallagher for another season....? He was decent for a while with some great performances and belters here and there, but he is slowly turning into our 'Bogarde'... I really hope, that Nigel sticks to the plan and keep the squad together adding only a few quality additions. Also hope that the club keeps sane with the contracts, so we don't overspend on the wage bill again. The best thing we can do in order to dampen the financial burden is to loan Gallagher out asap as the new season beckons and then actively seeking potential buyers as the season progresses. As of right now, I can't see any team willing to buy him out of his current contract. Well, maybe Preston should they get promoted to the Championship. Danns and St. Ledger we could sell as early as the end of this season, as their respective contract runs out by then.
Guest ttfn Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I'd actually forgotten St Ledger was still at the club.
Corky Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 I would guess Wasilewski, whom Pearson has already said he would want to keep. Ah yes, of course. Have some Trav
cuddly ken Posted 7 April 2014 Posted 7 April 2014 There's a saying "Be nice to people on your way up, as you may meet the same people on your way down" Posters on here putting players down and writing them off as not good enough, BEWARE! Football has a way of changing things and fortunes around, so don't rule out one of these players putting us down in the future.
RizLCFC Posted 8 April 2014 Author Posted 8 April 2014 Who is the 10th player? They've only listed nine. Marcin Wasilewski
