Pearson's Daughter

"Nigel Pearson's Foxes" on BBC Late Kick Off Midlands

Hola everybody,

I just found out from a bbc article that there's a special feature on Leicester tonight.

Nigel Pearson's Foxes also give BBC Late Kick Off Midlands exclusive access behind the scenes at the club's training ground in a special promotion feature.

No areas were off limits, from Pearson's office, to the his players, medical department, recruitment and sports science team.

You can watch the feature on BBC One in the Midlands from 23:25 BST on Monday, 7 April and on the BBC iPlayer.

Much to my distress I can't watch it because I'm stuck on a freezing rock in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean (Iceland) and the BBC iPlayer doesn't work abroad.

If anyone knows of other sites it might be uploaded to or something and are willing to share the info, then I'll consider naming my first born after them!

Just watched it. I know they are big on nutrition but every single player had their own dietary and protein requirements worked out for them, it's no wonder we have a team full of machines.

Watching that just shows Pearson already has us functioning like a premiership club. It was no surprise that when he left and Sousa took over the players looked very unfit.

I've got it installed on Firefox and the show's been uploaded and is working now!

According to the hola.org website it should also work on both IE & chrome.

zenmate extension in chrome works very well for me, in case any one else wants to try something that allows access to UK TV from abroad.

there was a good article on matt reeves in the saturday mercury before the burnley game

Really enjoyed seeing what goes on behind the scenes at Belvoir Drive. Not just a case of having a quick stretch and a fag!!

Good enough for Sunday League players though! Who needs a whole medical dept when you've got some deep freeze spray and a magic sponge?

watched it and v impressed

Saw that mercury article on Matt reeves, he never has fizzy drinks

What sort of ''plan'' is GTF on?

I love this thread. I am going to watch this on my lunch break for shiz, too tired to stay up last night. I think the fact that we had the conference on sports science held at Belvoir Drive tells you everything about the state of the club at the moment. With the limited number of injuries we have had this season, Dyer, Vardy and a few knocks here and there, including Moore's big knock in to post... it's testiment to all the staff involved.

Mickyblueeyes - Reeves mentioned in his article that he went to Hull with Pearson - so there's a big truth in it. The players were not at their peak. My cousin runs www.revolution-foods.com, I believe some of the players are their clients. It's owned by Dean Howell (former Fleetwood player), he's all about nutrition.

Does anyone know how much Lloyd benches? I'd love to know Wes and Was' deadlift weight too
