There are some spectacular goals in there. not wanting to take anything away from those strikes but every player can hit them sweetly. Dyer's for me was about sheer lung busting determination..and only Lloyd could have made up that distance to be there on the end of that inch perfect pass by Nuge. Fox seen in Norwich Posted 23 April 2014 Share Posted 23 April 2014 YPOTY: Riyad Mahrez - Don't want to put the mockers on him but this guy looks Premiership quality, every time he gets the ball he makes something happen, great to watch. Harsh on Moore and even more so on James. POTY: Danny Drinkwater - Again looks Premiership quality, come on leaps and bounds this season, and as has been said before, he makes us tick and when he plays well we play well. Jamie Vardy could've easily got my vote. GOTS: Mahrez v Blackpool - Some great goals this season but this one sticks out because he made the goal for himself out of nothing really, and what a fantastic shot to follow, in a game which was beginning to get very frustrating with our missed chances, he turned it around and we romped home. The reason we're up so quickly. A constant threat, made space for others and pressed the opposition from the moment they got the ball. Finishing like Lineker's ghost for the winning run. Turned goal kicks into opportunities (see QPR). Love the man, epitomises the kind of player Leicester's always loved. DD a close second, if he keeps this up he could run into Izzet territory. GOTY: Wood v Burnley. Brilliant goal, superb movement and strength, and in context definitive of the season.
