StanSP Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 Really strikes home, some of these stats. Further tributes to a monumental season. Nice of Natalie to wear blue, too. Bet Queen Billy wasn't happy. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/27143898 29 - Most wins in a season (could be broken) 9 - Consecutive league wins 21 - league games unbeaten 12 - unbeaten away league games (could still be bettered) 96 - total points so far (I want 100!) 32 - games scored in a row
leftsideoverhere Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 12 - unbeaten away league games (could still be bettered) This one doesn't seem quite right. We've played 22 away games, and certainly haven't lost 10 of them. Is it 12 unbeaten consecutive away?

AjcW Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 ... Birch getting a comment in about Wes, bet Nat loved that!!
StanSP Posted 24 April 2014 Author Posted 24 April 2014 Oops, yep meant to say consecutive. I actually thought it was 13. 11 was the record I think.
MC Prussian Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 Reaching 100 points or even the maximum possible of 102 points this season would be amazing, same goes for 30 or even 31 league wins in 2013/2014. Hope we're going to see a couple more goals for our lads against Huddersfield and Doncaster.
leftsideoverhere Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 Win both the games and we could easily end with a + 40 goal difference, too. I can't imagine that happens very often.
surrifox Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 The historian chappie looks like my old metal work teacher
Manjiro Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 I reckon we're only unbeaten in 11 consecutive away league games. Where am I going wrong? We have won 12 away mind. And unbeaten in 17 away.
Alexikokopops Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 I reckon we're only unbeaten in 11 consecutive away league games. Where am I going wrong? We have won 12 away mind. And unbeaten in 17 away. 1. QPR 2. Millwall 3. Leeds 4. Birmingham 5. Bournemouth 6. Forest 7. Barnsley 8. Blackburn 9. Burnley 10. Wigan 11. Reading 12. Bolton
rico Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 anyone know the last time we had 3 goal-scoring players double figures ,Knocky may even make it 4
Spudulike Posted 24 April 2014 Posted 24 April 2014 ... also, doesn't Nuge need one more to be the first City player since Sir Gary to net 20 league goals in a season ??
Ibbyfox Posted 25 April 2014 Posted 25 April 2014 ... also, doesn't Nuge need one more to be the first City player since Sir Gary to net 20 league goals in a season ?? Fryatt in League 1 ........... unless you mean in the 2nd tier?
StanSP Posted 25 April 2014 Author Posted 25 April 2014 Fryatt in League 1 ........... unless you mean in the 2nd tier? It's a 2nd tier record that Lineker holds I think. So Nugent could/should equal that.
Corky Posted 25 April 2014 Posted 25 April 2014 We've scored 95 goals this season (80 in the league, 14 in the League Cup and 1 in the FA Cup). Have we scored 100 overall before?

StanSP Posted 25 April 2014 Author Posted 25 April 2014 And also looking at that Wiki page, we could break the record for most home wins in a season (currently equalled at 16. Win vs Doncaster and we break that record). Win against Huddersfield and we equal the record for away league wins in a season (14). (That's been mentioned above I think)
StanSP Posted 26 April 2014 Author Posted 26 April 2014 Now scored in 32 consecutive games in all competitions.
Les-TA-Jon Posted 27 April 2014 Posted 27 April 2014 How many games have we been top for? and is that a record? Ok - So it's 27 overall, and 25 in a row since we beat Reading at Home.
