LeicesterBran Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 I'd love him at the KP as he is a good player technically, skilful, works hard and has pace. And the attributes I mentioned are what we need.
Narborough_fox Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 The thing with Snodgrass is that he isn't an out and out winger at all. For Scotland he's been playing in a 'number 10' role just behind the lone striker, such as Naismith, so he'd suit a 4-2-3-1 as well as a 4-4-2 system. Likes playing on the left which is good as both Knockaert and Mahrez are, preferably, right sided players. Depending on how much Norwich want, this could be a cracking signing.
ibbosuk Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Good point , wages may be a problem with any ''premier league quality players'' Similar size club, similar size premiership wage structure, I don't see that as a major problem to us...
65RosesFox Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 A thread, and a player that all our fans agree on. That means he's won't be coming then.
Tuna Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Would approve of this, but will NP want to sign players from relegated clubs?
65RosesFox Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Would approve of this, but will NP want to sign players from relegated clubs? Why wouldn't he? A failed Premier League club doesn't mean all the players were failures. Look at Marshall, he was one of best keepers, if not the best Keeper in the League last season. Either Snodgrass or Redmond would be a good acquisition.
woznotwos Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 To be honest , when looking at the clubs that might of got relegated back in April I was hoping one would be Norwich, just because I felt they had a couple of players worth a punt at .

Agree with the first part but I think Snoddy usually cuts in from the right onto his left. Im pretty sure he usually plays right wing, with Nathan Redmond cutting in from the left onto his right.
Tielemans63 Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 I'd bloody love to see Snodgrass here. Crap name but great player.
Horibbly Wrong Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Looking at the 'Narch forums they seem resigned to losing him, but don't exactly smother him with praise! They seem to be more worried bout losing Tettey (whoever that is)
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 26 years old (27 in September) so a 3 year contract would be about right Possibly at the right price he would be ok?

Tuna Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 Thought he was a DM. I'm 99% certain he is. Scored a cracker this season against Sunderland.
Unabomber Posted 10 May 2014 Posted 10 May 2014 I'm 99% certain he is. Scored a cracker this season against Sunderland. Weird as I think Col loves DM's.
Guest Col city fan Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 I know he's a bloody DM! But I'm on a strict, can't mention DM's campaign, for fear of Babylon using the phrase 'box-to-box midfielder' again..:nuge:
Fez of Mahrez Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 I know he's a bloody DM! But I'm on a strict, can't mention DM's campaign, for fear of Babylon using the phrase 'box-to-box midfielder' again.. :nuge: That's alright then.
