bovril Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Wisbech - another lovely town ruined by immigration from eastern europe. God bless the EU. Have you actually been to Wisbech?

Merging Cultures Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 What do you do for a living BB? You always seem to be all over the place! Economic development, primarily microfinance and financial inclusion.
bovril Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Economic development, primarily microfinance and financial inclusion. Universal Exports?
fazzyfox Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Haverhill in Suffolk, twinned with hell. I popped over to Ipswich once and it was closed. I remember the minor earthquake in Birmingham a few years ago which caused 3 million pounds of improvement. I hear the mayor of Coventry has real problems with immigration but I'm sure if he keeps trying hard enough he'll find someone desperate enough to move there.
Merging Cultures Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Universal Exports? Haha! I wish. I'm not clever or fit enough to be a spy. But I could just be bluffing.

I have a lot of respect for people who move abroad and make something for themselves, I'm guessing it wasn't comfortable at all going to some of the places and doing some of the jobs you did. Good for you.

Merging Cultures Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 It is private sector or on behalf of government? Private sector right now, often non-profit (charity) type stuff, but in the US that's a career not like in the UK.

Good for you. Thanks!! Yeah, it's not easy. Like last week flying home on short notice for my Grandma's funeral. Being home would be easier for family stuff. Where did you study for you Bachelor's and Masters? BSc Brunel MSc Uni of London

steveherbe Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 York? Southampton? Both great places. Southampton? It aint Vegas, but bloody hell, its better than a certain city we all know and love. As you will all see next season when we rob them of 3 points.

muzzyisalegend Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 I live in wisbech. It used to be a lovely town when we first moved here but its gone downhill big style. There are alot of immigrants here but they cannot be solely blamed for the towns demise.
Ziggy1990 Posted 11 May 2014 Posted 11 May 2014 Lowestoft. Other than the up-and-coming football club now in the Blue Square, avoid.
